Nhi Nuong has a very extensive menu both vegan and non vegan. My husband is vegetarian and ordered the vegan Pho. I had the Phở Bò Đặc Biệt. We also got an orange juice that was freshly squeezed which really impressed us. The Vegan Pho wasn't very good. The broth has a slight coconut scent and not much flavour of the classic pho spices you would expect. The mock meats and noodles were good though. They were generous with the meat with the Phở Bò Đặc Biệt. I personally prefer beef brisket which they didn't have. The tendons also didn't taste very fresh. The noodles were good, soft with a slight chew. The broth was slightly sweet and light. We were quite disappointed with the vegan pho but still want to come back to give their other vegan dishes a chance. I would come back for the beef Pho too purely because of the broth but would probably order one without tendon.

Had a bowl of delicious vegan Bún bò Huế here, very aromatic lemongrass broth, came with a big pile of leaves, herbs, bean sprouts and lemon wedges on the side. Plus, a umami rich garlicky chilli oil to add on top if wanted (we did want it, it added even more depth to the dish) Really cool fake meat selection in the dish and different mushrooms. Bouncy rice noodles and such a generous portion. Staff were so lovely to us. There was a tea urn brought to our table and the tea was a kind of light but warming pandan flavour, also a pleasure to drink. Don't forget to ask for the veggie menu as its a different one from their regular one. We forgot when we first got there and wondered where all the veggie dishes were lol.

The food is absolutely amazing omg. Their fish sauce (nước mắm) is made with authentic southern Vietnam taste so it definitely satisfied my home sick feeling/taste buds. We ordered the rice vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll (bún thịt nướng chả giò) - pic. Plus bánh cuốn - forgot to take pic - was busy devouring the other dish. Plus avocado smoothie (sinh tố bơ) and iced tea. Everything tasted devine and made me wanna go back already. All up 47 bucks which is so affordable for 2 good portion meals and 2 drinks. Their free hot tea was delicious too. Will come back for the rest of the menu 😋

I returned to this restaurant because my first time there was fairly pleasant. I ordered a bowl of rice vermicelli soup with duck and bamboo shoots. The menu did not specify that it had offal in it and when it came it had chicken liver and hearts in the soup. The spring rolls had a fish bone in them and caused my friend to choke. I waited 15 minutes after one of my friends received her food to get mine, and my other friend waited a further 30 minutes to receive hers. Her food was also unsatisfactory and she did not eat it. Our avocado smoothies arrived halfway through dinner because they forgot about them and did not taste like an avocado smoothie but like nuts. When we complained about the service and food, the owner was extremely rude to us and was swearing at us in vietnamese under her breathe and glaring at us until we left. Definitely not...

I'm sorry, I hate writing bad reviews, but I hate going somewhere that's highly reviewed and being disappointed or straight out lied to even more. We waited more than half an hour to be served after seating, then almost an hour to get our first dish, then another half hour for the next, my son's spring rolls never came, two fried rices were still coming after we had finished what was edible of our meals, so we cancelled them, Food was old, cold and not really what we ordered, when I asked them to fix it we were treated very rudely, and even charged for the stuff we didn't get like the rices and the spring rolls. I would be embarrassed and humiliated if I owned that business. Sorry but best avoid at all...
