Hampton Street — Local services in Melbourne

I'm a regular Hampton Street visitor. It has a fantastic range of Cafes and restaurants (and I think I've reviewed them all!) and it has great retail outlets, such as a large newsagent, supermarkets, clothing, shoes and more. Nearly everything except a large post office which unfortunately closed. It also has a train station and depending what part of Hampton St you're on, it's a 5 min walk to the beach. Parking can sometimes be difficult, particularly in afternoons so I always get there early. However like most other shopping strips it has too many vacant shops, which really detracts from the place. Anyway...

They accidentally forgot to put in my calamari and I called them about it and they offered to deliver it free of charge and even out in a complimentary calamari!!! Amazing food for any day of the week with there also being the daily specials. It’s the perfect place for friends family...

Great choice of shops with most of what you need. Can be busy for parking, but 2 P is the norm with 3 P behind Woolworths, so usually no dramas. Shop...
