Rokeby 100 — Local services in Melbourne

Sara-Jane was amazing right from the start when I enquired about hiring Rokeby 100 for our wedding. We had a cocktail style wedding and decorated the venue ourselves based on Sara-Jane’s advice and recommendations. She was very patient and flexible, even though I was a groom-zilla at times, Sara-Jane made an effort to calm my nerves and do everything possible to make our day perfect. And it was! Despite little things right up to the event that seemed like they weren’t going to plan (on my end, nothing to do with the venue) like guests arriving late pushing out the start time, once thinks kicked off, everything was perfect. Once we walked in and commenced the ceremony, we let go of worrying about making sure things were perfect because between Sara-Jane, our MC and DJ, they just all worked together to make everything work. It was immediately clear that Sara-Jane is a pro at hosting these events as she took the worry away and kicked into gear to made everything perfect. The food was just amazing and no guest commented otherwise. The grazing table was a work of art at the same time delicious, as were the warm small bites that followed. The venue is very reasonably priced, having just a minimum spend of $3000 which was easily covered by the food on its own. We simply added a bar tab rather than electing the drink packages which we just topped up a couple of times. We honestly spent half, if not more, of what we would have spent at other venues, where as soon as you mention ‘wedding’ they want $10-20k minimum before you even start talking about what you want. Rokeby 100 doesn’t charge based on the type of event, it’s a one size fits all package and we managed to stay within budget. Everything was just perfect and a night we will never forget. My (now) husband and I had our wedding reception at Rokeby 100 in August 2025. We had 55 guests, and were super happy with the cost.

SJ was our event organiser, and was INCREDIBLE from start to finish. We had our consultation with her and she asked all the right questions on elements we hadn’t even thought about. Her experience in event planning and coordination shined through. She gave us some ideas (including a “roller door” entrance for the bridal party), and was super attentive to our needs and requirements. She was also super responsive, and if she hadn’t gotten back to us right away - she gave us a call to let us know that we were on her mind and she would get back to us when she can.

We were able to setup the night before and pick up everything the day after - the Rokeby 100 team were super flexible and we are incredibly grateful. The evening itself was better than we imagined. There was plenty of food (which was DELICIOUS), we heard from so many guests that it was a “hidden gem”, the Rokeby 100 staff were incredibly friendly and ALWAYS made sure to come past my husband or I with food to make sure we’d had enough to eat.

We also hired a DJ for the evening, Jordan Lentini (jj_officialtv). He and SJ had worked together before and it showed. Everything went so smoothly and exactly as planned.

I booked Rokeby 100 for my 30th birthday party. I currently work in events, and I would have no hesitation in saying this is one of the best companies (for venue, food and service!) that I have ever worked with and would book them for all my future events.

The team I worked with (especially Geri and Adam) were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too hard for them to help organise. They were available when I wanted to inspect the space and helped with set up on the day.

Venue: Rokeby100 is located close to a train station, there's plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and once you get inside the venue, your attention is drawn to the blank canvas design - with a high ceiling, polished concrete floors, fairy lights, high-hanging greenery, wood features and a well placed bar, this is your perfect space for parties, weddings and all things inbetween.

Food: I had grazing platters and finger food and I can't even say the number of positive comments I had - that there were plenty of food and it was all so fresh and that everyone was reached by the staff and people didn't miss out. I also had a few dietary requirements and they were so helpful with working around these. I also booked a donut wall - that could not have been more of a hit!

Drinks menu: Rokeby100 has amazing drink options - I can tell that they value good wine and drinks as all options to select for the tab weren't your stock standard drinks, and were so reasonably priced too!

The whole experience was an enjoyable one, and it was the personalised service, attention to detail and beautiful space that just topped it for me.

Definitely an 11/10 event, I'm beyond stoked and can't wait to...
