If you are in the east and looking for a full fledge modern dining experience, this new brewery in Burwood This place is all what you need Is a well designed modern interior setup serving freshly brewed beer, poured by the power of the sun. I personally like such places who take a step towards carbon neutrality, and function as much on solar. Food and ambience is to die for, The staff is warm and welcoming and quite well versed with their kitchen and bar❤️ Indulge a craft beer connoisseur with their tasting paddle. A delightful 5 piece Beer Tasting Flight is there to refresh your palette if you aren’t looking forward for a heavy drinking visit. Post their launch they have updated their menu with a couple of dishes and Luckily I tried most of them! The Capricciosa pizza that comes with Napoli sauce, ham, artichoke, mushroom, olive and mozzarella- Trust me the artichoke added 5 stars to it and I loved how the bread was thin baked soaked well in napoli sauce. Not a fan of mushrooms however Their Fried Shitakes with rosemary salt and sour cream is every vegetarians dream and for non mushroom fans , give it a try its nothing like mushrooms 😁 Not sure if you would get a better steamed snapper outside of this place, their most expensive dish and is totally worth the hype- A delicious local snapper fillet served with seaweed butter and watercress salad. A proper meal!!! For a complete dining experience, Donot make your way out before having your mouth full with their Bread and Butter Pudding filled with orange and cinnamon custard to save on that regret😁

I've been to the New Northcote Brewhouse twice now. Once was about 4 weeks ago for Friday afternoon drinks with work colleagues. There's a great variety of craft beers on tap which are nice and cold. You can also get a tasting board of the variety of beers which is great if you're not sure on exactly what you want to get. The second time I attended was today with my family for lunch. I had the 300g Wagyu steak which was cooked perfect rare and when I asked to swap out the onion rings for hot chips the staff were more than happy to accommodate. My wife had the baby barramundi which she said was delicious and my son had a kids margarita pizza (very generous serve) which he devoured. Staff were all very friendly and were prompt at taking food and beverage orders. My only criticisms were that drinks and food took awhile to arrive to our table. It wasn't at all busy during the time we spent here, only a couple of other tables. Whilst our orders were taken promptly, drinks took 15-20 minutes from after we first sat down and food also took awhile to come out and I wasn't provided a proper steak knife for my meal. Other than that everything else was great. Nice place for simple but tasty meals and top end craft beer which absolutely hits the spot. I highly recommend the Ginger Lime Gose which is a take on a salted German ale. After I left New Northcote Brewhouse I drove up to the Golden Hills brewery to purchase some cans of the Ginger Lime Gose to take home!

This friendly tavern is the perfect spot for gatherings with friends and family. The warm atmosphere and welcoming staff make it an inviting place to relax and enjoy. The BBQ Meatlovers Pizza and Filipino-style Barbecue Chicken are must-try dishes – absolutely delicious and satisfying. If you're into games, there's even a pool table to keep the fun going. Beer lovers can enjoy their drinks in three sizes: a pot, a pint, or a jug, offering flexibility for any occasion. The tavern also features themed nights four days a week, each offering great deals: Monday Parma Night: Parmas for $23. Tuesday Pizza Night: Any pizza for $16. Wednesday Steak Night: Juicy porterhouse steaks for $25. Thursday Trivia Night: Free entry with exciting prizes. On Sundays, there's a Cocktail Special from 12 PM to 4 PM to wrap up the weekend on a high note. With good food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere, this tavern is a fantastic destination to unwind and create memories.

Don't normally write reviews but thought had to after this experience.

We went last night - Sunday 2/1. Was told the table would only be on hold for 5 minutes from booking time or would be let go. We got there on time - did not seem that busy - but no drama.

Waiter then introduced himself and said would be looking after us for 'most' of the night - whatever that meant. After taking our orders - did advise the kitchen was slightly behind - so approx 30 min wait- more so due to pizzas ordered.

After about 25 minutes our drinks arrived. after serving us the first one - the waitress knocked over her own drinks tray - spilling 2 drinks over us. No apologies- just very flustered. Required direction from us to see what was best to do next - such as get towels and a mop to clean it up. We gently suggested perhaps the replacement drinks would be complimentary given the incident - only said would see - then nothing more. Original waiter offered no service or input let alone the manager on duty.

Our food eventually arrived over 1 hour from taking the order - and in drips and drabs. knowing there were children there - would have been smart to at least have their food organised first.

our 'original' waiter who said would be looking after us only came to our table with some of the food we ordered.

we eventually found out from the manager that the kitchen was one chef down. that would be no problem if explained at the start - and if the 30 minute timeframe was not achievable - then dont offer it - let alone then at least come and tell us and apologise for the further delay.

To top off an ordinary experience - the food serving was average. To order main size fish and chips - and receive only a handful of chips - 2 small pieces of fried fish and the remaining half of the plate with tartare sauce is ridiculous. it looked like the kids portion we ordered for one of the children - except on a bigger plate and too much tartare sauce. The Shitake mushrooms - for what they charged and what others had posted pictures of - looked nothing like it in terms of quantity or quality. The garden salad - which was $13 or $15 - was nothing but a green salad leaf mix with dressing. nothing else was included - maybe cherry tomatoes, capsicum or red onion would have presented much better.

Highly do not recommend this establishment as not well managed from the top and the kitchen clearly overwhelmed. Food is below average and not worth the price they charge....

Went on steak night (Wed 06/09). 2 young male wait staff. One with short hair (lovely), one with longer shoulder length brown hair (have never experienced so much attitude and rudeness from in my life... and I'm a teacher...so that's saying something- wouldn't let you finish a sentence... spoke over the top of us, rolled his eyes, snapped when we asked questions... we were shocked). Order our meals on the app... then overheard the waiter telling another table that what was on the menu is changed for steak night... which is fine... but tell us before we order please. There was a change to the accompanying sides (fine) and a change to the sauce (which would be fine, but I have a severe allergy to what goes in the changed sauce)... anyway... we called a waiter over and asked about the changes... and we were met with incredible rudeness. I asked if there was any chance we cold get the sauce listed on the menu... again absolute rudeness but said he would ask the chef (we were MORE than happy to pay for the sauce by the way). Anyway meals come out... scallops... delicious. The 3 steaks that were ordered... cooked to PERFECTION... the change of sauce.... disaster... we were given a "F* you for asking for something". The sauce was obviously separated (Not being a good cook myself... I know about broken sauces) 3cm of straight oil?butter? on top and 1/2 a cm of burnt I do not know what on the bottom... gluggy something with 1-2 pepper corns in it.... like wow!!!!! Literally asking a vary rude wait staff if there was a possibility to get a different sauce, because they had made a change to the menu that we had not heard about... resulted in ridiculously rude customer service and an inedible (and embarrassing for the chef) sauce that completely ruined the experience for us and contradicted the the perfectly cooked meat and aesthetically beautiful atmosphere. Will will give this place another try, but if its not good then we will write it...

Terrible food. Very disappointed We had eaten her once before and the food was great so when we booked again we were looking forward to a nice meal. Nothing was good on our visit last night. Very warm day, all windows open making the restaurant hit and uncomfortable with no fans or aircon. The water given to our table had obviously been sitting out all day as it was really really warm. Ask for some cool water, yes it was given to us, not acknowledgement of the warm water, in fact it was left on our table. Next the food came out and was terrible. Our table had order steak, duck and pizza. Steak was so tough, I asked for a sharper knife, the kipfler potatoes looked at tasted old, stale and were clearly not freshly cooked. Day old and re-heated at best. The duck also seemed to be reheated (badly) dry and tough to eat. Both meals seemed to be day old leftovers. My daughter ordered pizza which looked great when it arrived. As she pick up each slice it just fell apart. It was a gory mush of ingredients. Only the outer crust was edible. I couldn’t hide my disappointment to the waitress when she asked how our meal was when she came to clear the plates. It was also obvious by all the food left on them. I told it it was disappointing and it like the meal we had there before Xmas. Again, no acknowledgement from the waitress. The 3 staff that were working that knight, all looked like they didn’t want to be there. Maybe it was the heat. I know things are hard atm with covid and staff shortages. But all round, nothing good about our experience on this occasion. I had also booked online and mentioned it was a birthday dinner. No acknowledgement of that either. Very...
