When we walked in the staff at the front door was very friendly and that was about it. No further service as they asked you to order QR code and this place is the only 2 places that I’ve been that you needed to pay at the counter before you can get the food. The girls at the counter can’t be bothered. So service ⭐️⭐️ Food wise, I was expecting a bit more than Lanzhou Noodles, however, my expectation was high. The noodles weren’t bad, but just average, especially the flavor of dry noodles with minced pork was so light. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was an over 30 degree hot day and there was no air con in the shop. Worst customer service I've experience in many years. First I asked for Biang Biang Noodles, which is on the menu, around lunchtime and they said they can't make it, without giving any reason. Then they give my takeaway noodles to someone else without apologising. The waitress's manager was visibly annoyed that she or her colleague made that mistake. But instead of telling me what happened, the waitress told me my noodles will take longer, so I can sit down and wait. When I confronted her, and asked if she gave my order to someone else she said it probably happened by mistake. Fair enough, it happens - but I prefer to be told what happened. Golden noodle house has become one of our favorite spots for a casual and satisfying meal. Their Lanzhou handmade beef noodles are consistently impressive — the portions are generous, the broth is rich, and there’s plenty of tender beef. I usually go for the Thicker noodles, which have a nice, firm texture. It’s also a big plus that adding extra noodles is free, something you don’t often see. We always order a few skewers as well, especially the chicken gizzards and chicken wings, which are both very tasty.
