I wanted To add today 10/10/25 that the oysters are to die for Absolutely Amazing I bought as well a whole Barramundi ..And it's pure Pleasure Old review next: To tell you the truth before This beautiful fish shop opened I used to go to Preston market to buy fish...and oysters...BUT We are so lucky to have Here John (the owner) @Mleara shopping center..He knows his fishes and Oysters. All his products are beautiful and very very fresh...Always Presented on massive bed of ice(see photos)..And I promise, that I bought and ate many times sashimi (raw fish) that prepared myself from this shop. I bought the other day a whole fresh salmon And It was TOP grade. Absolutely delicious.. His oysters are the best....Make it short you will no be disappointed And cherry on the cake, You will be served with a big smile as well. Dear John please don't change ...Your loyal French customer...

John is a passionate fishmonger who only wants to sell good quality produce to all his customers. I have been a customer since this store opened and have had nothing but fresh seafood. I don’t think I can visit any other fish shop in Melbourne to do my shopping. John and the boys always greet me warmly and ensures anything I need is done properly. Amazing service, clean and very nice looking store. Most importantly, seafood and fish is fresh and picked daily by John. Recommended to all family and friends in the area!! Thanks...

It is rare to find a store owner so sociable and driven in customer service. John is exactly that. From a smile and wave when I first walked past, to asking me my name the first time I went in and remembered it from that moment on. Always calls out "Hey Roger" as I go past.

John and his staff are passionate about their products and the quality is exceptional.

I highly recommend Victoria's Wild Catch as your one stop fresh fish store
