Seafood Basket — Restaurant in Melbourne

Been there a few times and it’s been ok, this time was the last. Order of a souvlaki, fish and chips. Souvlaki was cold as it sat there after being cooked for about 10 minutes while the young staff talk about god knows what and then proceed to attempt to wrap up chips etc. chips with no salt and an extremely confused look on the staff members face as they attempted to wrap the chips. Clearly no clue. As for the food itself, the fish was fine however the chips were a mixed bag of freshly cooked and some (about a quarter) had been sitting in the fryer or fried multiple times to the point that the chip was devoid of all moisture and resembled the dusty composition of mummified remains. Needless to say, I’ll partake in my fish and chippery elsewhere...

Useless ...just asked the two young girls please make my chips chrispy,, open it floppy and under cooker CRISPY MEANS GOLDEN BROWN AND THEY CRISPY WHEN YOU BITE INTO THEN I asked for chicken salt!!!! Just spent close to $50 on flake, chips, calamari, and potato cakes, but unfortunately have had to throw it all out. Had to wait extra time as the order was ready, but the fish was not included. All the food was way too oily, potato cake batter was too thick, flake meat was dry and not fresh. Really...
