Very Disappointed. Purchased very expensive item as a gift but was unsure if it would fit. I was reassured by staff member I had 7 days to return for refund just speak to manager. Unfortunately it did not suit and I returned 2 days later however manager refused to refund and only offered credit note. Normally I would have been ok with a credit note and in reality I never return items to an op shop anyway. I just redonate if doesn’t suit but this was a large outlay for me. I am now out of pocket and forced to shop at Vinnies till I can use it up. I would never have spent that much in first place had I have known this was the case for such a large amount. I Was told by manager the particular staff advice was incorrect and it was a casual volunteer?? Whatever! Aren’t all your staff volunteers? As a manager you should train all volunteers to be consistent and not give wrong information. I hope you are happy with taking my hard earned cash and now also have item to resell. Looks like I lost out as the LOYAL customer. In this current climate a lot of us are facing hardships and choose to shop at secondhand stores to save money and also support charities. I have supported this store for many years through many donations and purchases, it’s so disappointing that I wasn’t supported in this one off occasion.

Update 4/5/23 - Further to this I also discovered today that the credit note - which I was reassured by the Manager herself, after asking 3 times, that it was valid for 12 months. Well I can confirm this was also incorrect information given. Really how do you expect the volunteers to get it right when the manager themselves misinforms customers!!!

I seriously don't make it here often enough but then something will catch my eye & i end up with so many great purchases. This particular store is Reasonably priced & have a large collection of household items & then some. Clothing, shoes,bags,jewelry, hats, accessories etc bric a brac etc. Furniture items bedding curtains towels. Even brand new pillows on the odd occasion. Shampoo conditioner toothpaste other I other miscellaneous items All your household item in one place Along with a collection of books & magazines of not only second hand items but also a brand new items such as Cleaning products, hair care, toothpaste etc.

Oh & the Staff are a very helpful friendly wonderful group of people....

Great selection of bric-a-brac and overall a good opshop.

The BIGGEST drawback is that the majority of price tags for the clothes are often attached directly to the fabric rather than the label.

As shoppers handle items to check sizes or try them on, this creates small holes that damage the clothing. By the time they’re purchased, many pieces already need mending.

This is such a shame as clothes leave the store in worse condition than when they were donated!!
