APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE and PRODUCT SELECTION
I went in store to try and find a dress for my 30th birthday lunch. Something fun, something summery and something to make me feel good. I was on a mission, I desperately wanted to find something. The service was fine. I tried on a number of dresses. None of them I was sold on but I was determined to try and find something. I tried one last dress, every shop assistant in the store said how incredible it looked and that I absolutely have to buy. Sure enough I did. Coco and Lola made a $379 sale from me.
I got home and tried on the dress and was told by my loved ones itâs awful and Iâd look nicer in a garbage bag. I returned the item with tags and within 7days only to be notified I can only get a store credit.
Iâve tried to find an item from over a long period of time and have had no luck. I just want my money back. I requested to talk to a manager and Coco and Lola reply âyour credit note will last 3 years, weâre sure youâll find something you love in this time.â
Please know I do not wish to find something in this time, your shop assistant could have helped me instead of making a quick sale seeing someone so desperate to buy a nice dress. I would not recommend buying from this store in Claremont. Iâm very disappointed with the service and response/ no response thats been given.
Sure they sell great brands but based on my experience, Iâd recommend going to a store where you feel valued and give you amazing service like Bec and Bridge karrinyup or any David Jones to buy...
Read moreWorst customer service experience of my life. I purchased my bridesmaid dresses from their Nedlands store. After waiting 7 weeks for them to come I never received any calls. Upon calling them I was informed they had arrived. (Where was my call?) Once I got home I realised they had ordered the wrong dresses (short version) I called them and told them what had happened, I spoke to the manager and she told me she will contact the designer and sort it out. Weeks past and I never heard anything, so I called again.. and again I was told she will call the designer. This happened 3 times. I was not kept in the loop I had no idea what was happening. It has now been 4 months since I received the wrong dresses, I got my maid of honour to call them and ask what the hell was happening. She spoke to the manager (again) and was asked what the problem was....?! She had clearly not even been in contact with the designer. And if she had, I wasnât aware because she never let me know what was happening. A week later (this week) my maid of honour got a call the dresses were ready. I finally picked up the new dresses and exchanged the wrong ones. Entering the store and letting the girl know who we were, she got the new dresses for us. We never once got an apology about the mixup. I am very disappointed in the service, especially considering the...
Read moreA lovely boutique nestled in the heart of Dalkeith and with a great range. I called up Thursday to enquire about the range of bridesmaids dresses that were available and received some great assistance over the phone. However the experience I had in store was really disappointing. Myself and my 4 bridesmaids came to the store (willing to spend in excess of $1500 if we found the right dress!) and were barely spoken to. Not once after the initial hello, did a shop attendant check on us to see how we were going or offer us any advice. One of my friends is a fuller figured girl (and stunning!) and the treatment she received when she asked whether one of the dresses was available in a larger size was quite upsetting.
This was disappointing and distressing to me and my friends. I wonât be considering this store on the next occasion- which is a shame as itâs really a lovely shop with a great range! I would suggest conversations are had with staff members to ensure that everyone who walks through the door feels seen and valued. This would up the star rating...
