Taylor Road IGA — Local services in Nedlands

Horrible experience. I asked the staff to reduce the price on an item which used by date was the next day due to the item not being fresh. This is standard for supermarkets regardless of where you are situated - the IGA down the road takes the initiative and marks down their products when they are approaching their expiry date. Not only is this to serve the best interests of your customers by providing them with their money's worth - it's business minded. I would have been happy with a $2 reduction on the item - instead of reducing the item and making a sale of $12 including the other item I was intending to purchase, you lost the sale of both items. The older staff member I dealt with was extremely rude to me stating "we don't reduce anything ever here" as if you're somehow better than every other IGA. Well let me tell you - not having fresh food available to your customers who are paying above the standard price for your products already, and then refusing to reduce items that are not fresh as well as treating potential long term customers so rudely - makes you the dumbest and worst IGA...

The best IGA i have ever been to in Perth to be honest, but being too good is actually why I have to give it 4 stars. Their selection of products and produce are fresh and they are open 24/7. They have roast chicken, a cafe, pastries, breads. Come here and you will be amazed. Unfortunately they are so well organised and have a range of stock for an IGA that they believe they can charge even extra for their service.

Everything here is overpriced, roast chicken especially is $13-$17?, but by 10:00pm the chicken is not so great (not sure if it ever was as I am always here late, I mean why would I come here during the day when colesworth and aldi and costco exist..)

They have a boutique floral shop, private security and almost everything you could need from a grocery store overall it is quite nice. But the pastry shop (cakes,pies,etc) is not even open past 9pm, so it is a limited open 24/7 IGA shop.

Taylor Road IGA - Tailored Inflated...

I wish to express my deep disappointment and frustration to the top management of IGA Taylor Road about the annoying experience my wife had experienced in IGA Taylor Road today. She was shouted by a rude and impolite IGA female staff who stood at the entrance for florist work. She visited the above IGA store about 2pm to 2:30pm today. When she asked a simple question to the female staff, she was responded badly by this female staff. She felt racism from this female staff, and strongly felt offended by her attitude. My wife then reported this incident to the acting store manager, Ary. He was helpful and promised to bring this matter to the top management. This is a true event and I welcome IGA management to contact us for details. This sort of unprofessional and untrained attitude shall be avoided at a reputable store like IGA.
