ordered a takeaway coffee this morn from elixir cafe an indian run establishment. served by a young european female [euro backpacker?]. i specifically asked if she could make my coffee very hot with minimal fluff on top. only 1-2 other customers in the cafe so not very busy. anyway the young american boy barista [also a backpacker?] who made the coffee does the exact opposite ie., gives me weak coffee made up of mostly fluff on top that at best was luke warm -ugh! last time there for me especially @6 bucks a pop -sheeesh! cheap scab labour. never makes stuff cheaper really does it except...

Eggs on toast, and eggs hollandaise were both let down by the toast - crust tough to the point of being difficult to cut, and the bread so soggy it was difficult to grab with a fork. Most likely the runny hollandaise at fault there. That being said, the sauce was still tasty.
