I think I might actually owe you guys my life. I'm sorry I couldn't afford to buy anything or leave a tip.
I had a horrible morning, I felt like I was almost dead (either my drink had been spiked night before, or the glass had a lot of soap in or something, happened, I don't know what, but I had barely drank anything and the last thing I remembered was that I had barely drank anything and was packing my bag, the night before, and was ready to leave, quite sober.. but then I woke up feeling worse than my first redback bite, minus having eaten anything for a few days, but then I was forced into the street by my 'friend' who took my blanket away, told me to call an uber, and kicked me out, at 6am because he didn't want me running the tap to wash the stomach acid out of my mouth, and I had a very long walk ahead of me for a man with a cane and a flat phone, even despite barely being able to stand and knees constantly buckling. Anyhow, after the 2 hours it took me to get there from just past the graveyard, if it wasn't for you guys letting me sit undisturbed with my head on the table trying to eat a croissant from nextdoor for an hour without actually buying anything, I think I might have collapsed on the pavement and been unable to move further or eat the croissant to get the energy to get home. It was very close, felt about as dire as that game where you freeze to death in the first 5 minutes. I almost didn't make it there in the first place, and had 4x further to walk. Thank you for letting me be. I really don't think I'd still be here without...
Read moreVery poor customer service!!! My sister and I had bought a bought a coffee elsewhere before we realised that we needed food to eat for lunch. We have come to the cafe a few times before and decided that it would be a good place to get a quick bite to eat. However, upon getting our food, the boss/manager looked at my coffee and said "Do you want me to throw that away for you." This shocked my sister and I as I have not been spoken to in such a condesending tone. He told us that we needed to get rid of the coffees right now so I asked "Can I finish it and then throw it out?" To which he didnt reply and instead told my sister off as well. It is really not that hard to politely interact with your customers if you wish to get a message across to them!
We had spent a decent amount on food however I didn't want to spend another second at the cafe so we left and ate elsewhere. As a woman, I felt very uncomfortable being spoken to like that and will be reccommending that friends stear clear of the place. The food has always been quite average for the high price and the place gives off more of a takeaway atmosphere, as even when dining in customers are served with takeaway containers. So i'm not sure why they are being so entitled and disrespectful about what people bring...
Read moreVERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE! My sister and I had already bought a coffee locally before driving to this cafe so we could have lunch together. My sister and I ordered our lunch and was sitting at a table waiting for our food, the boss/manager came over and delivered our food, he then looked at my sisters coffee and asked “do you want me to throw that away for you” this shocked my sister and I as we have never been spoken to in such a patronising tone, she replied “no thank you” as she was not finished. He then became very passive aggressive and told her off for bring a coffee from a different café, my sister asked “if she could finish it and then throw it out” to which he didn’t reply and instead told me off as well. As a woman I felt very uneasy and uncomfortable being spoken to in such a manner and was confused as to why they treated their customers so disrespectfully. We had spent a decent amount on food however due to the incident we didn’t feel comfortable enough to spend another second at the café, so we left and ate somewhere else. The food was very average, and the price was expensive. I am very disappointed as the café is local and convenient, however after the way he mistreated my sister and I, we will not...
