The boardwalk starts from the parramatta wharf, we took the walk on ANZAC day, so maybe it’s more quiet than usual. The walk is shared with the cyclists and mostly flat surface. Not much scenery along the walk, and you only get to see the parramatta river for a bit. But I would still say it’s a nice quiet walk in the midst of...

Auf dem Riverside Walk sind viele Aboriginal Kunstwerke zu sehen, die die Geschichte des Burramatta Volkes und die Begegnung mit den Weißen thematisieren. Auf einigen Stelltafeln gibt es Erklärungen und Hintergrundinfos zu den Bildern auf dem Weg. Man erfährt von dem kriegerischen Konflikt zwischen 1791 und 1805 und wenn man den Weg am Fluss weiter Richtung Government House geht von der ersten Ernte der Siedler auf der Government Farm...
