Just when I thought the customer service in no longer a exists and people stopped caring, Michael from Black Forest Smokehouse showed up and revived my faith in people. I ordered Xmas turkey and pork belly online, very easy, shame the smaller sized hams we're all sold out as I would've liked to have tried it based on reviews. I got Monday delivery but had to go get car serviced on the morning. Michael called to say he was at house, and of course I wasn't there and told him where I was. He was trying to figure out how to keep meet safe and was actually thinking of me the customer and went way above and beyond by finding a place where he knows it would be safe and not perish till I get home. What a kind and caring man! You will never, get that from other delivery guys. I was so impressed that I am now a loyal customer and would recommend Black Forest Smokehouse to anyone in a heartbeat. Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery, very disappointed with their dishonesty. I felt very much ripped off. I was sold a ham which was originally 25% more before I asked for them to weigh it. I then saw it in Harris Farm markets for nearly half the price I paid. When I called to explain my disappointment I was basically dismissed. Instead of offering any compensation I was told I shouldāve called on the day and they wouldāve refunded me and when I explained I saw the ham after we already consumed some they didnāt want to know and basically that they are very busy and to have a Merry Xmas. All to shut me off. I made the effort to talk to them, that failing Iāve decided to put my experience in a review.

The man behind the counter was extremely rude, almost aggressively so, when he told us that Monday morning was not the time for us to come in asking these questions. He told us to look on the internet (which of course we have, but there are no prices, hence why we came in in the first place) and come back at lunch when someone 'may' be able to help us.
