I recently visited Bourke Street Bakery in Marrickville and was absolutely delighted by my experience! Firstly, let's talk about the pastries - they are divine! Each bite is a burst of flavor and freshness. If you visit, you simply must try their special Ham and Cheese as well as Tomato and Cheese Crossties. You must try this! Moreover, I was genuinely impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent customer service provided by the staff. They were incredibly polite, kind, and attentive, making my visit all the more enjoyable. It's evident that they truly care about their customers' satisfaction. Overall, Bourke Street Bakery is a gem of a bakery with scrumptious pastries and top-notch service. I highly recommend paying them a visit!

Great place to come to whenever you’re craving for some good pastries! They make really good pies and sausage rolls here! Great coffee as well and the service was fast! However, we tried their homemade iced chocolate in the bottle and there was abit of slim in the bottle when I drank it and it gave me a bad taste afterwards. Not to sure if it was meant to be like that but it turned me off from their iced chocolate. Hence why I have given them 4 stars instead of a 5. Otherwise their pies, sausage rolls and tarts are amazing! We will definitely be coming back again!

The pies and sausage rolls are reliably good. Can't go wrong with them. Same with the pain au chocolat. Great lamination of layers and a great balance of sweet and vaguely bitter chocolate inside. The chocolate ganache tart was on the crunchy and a bit brittle rather than delicate which I don't mind but it could be an off day, not sure. The ganache itself was lovely. Their sourdough can be on the denser or tougher side and I believe Double Roasters next door uses their bread too. I don't mind the sourdough but for some it's too hard on the teeth when toasted.

recently I walked in with my carer (expected to have a nice treat.)However! One young male staff made fun of my disability hands.!

Hard plastic splints on my both hands and wrists, I looked like a fighter who killed the bear??!!! He was historically laughing

I was beyond discomfort. I told him “ can you stop making fun of someone’s pain? It’s not funny what you’re doing.” But he was keep on going I should proudly tell others I’m a bear killer!! He stopped after other people gave him a hard serious look but what kind of stupidity is that?!!! Absolutely delusional and beyond rudeness.!

Please select your staff member wisely and teach them some basic customer manners. You hire this kind of idiot as a face of your bakery and losing quality of...

If you want to waste your money you should come here!

Honestly this was the worst cafe I have been to in Sydney! Starting off the service- the guy working there was rude, and for 7am in the morning I didn’t really want to hear him talking about vodka martini’s and how he love to drink. The food quality- food quality was awful, the avocado tasted like it came out of the tube you can buy at the grocery store, the egg and bacon was precooked and tasted like it was 5 days old. Coffees- the coffee was so bad I had to chuck it in the bin, we bought an iced mocha which I was told had to be made on full cream milk so it would taste good but instead it was the worst coffee I have ever had and I believe 7/11 would have...
