I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my visit to your clinic on 25 September 2025, during which my husband and child received vaccinations from Dr. M. Prabhu. The purpose of this letter is to address several serious concerns related to billing, professional conduct, and the accurate documentation of medical services.
Unjustified Consultation Fee:
I was charged a $98 consultation fee for what was labeled as "Level B surgery" to confirm I did not need a yellow fever vaccination. I informed Dr. Prabhu at the time that I was only present to support my child and was already aware of the vaccination requirements for myself. This charge was unnecessary and unjustified.
Unequal Treatment and Inefficient Service:
During our visit, Dr. Prabhu spent over 15 minutes speaking with another patient and informed that individual he would not be charged a consultation fee. This indicates a double standard in billing practices. Furthermore, after our appointment, I was told by an assistant that I had to handle my Medicare claim myself, which is a departure from standard clinic practice and unprofessional.
Incompetent and Incomplete Medical Documentation:
Despite my repeated requests, Dr. Prabhu failed to properly document the vaccination batch stickers in my husband's and daughter's vaccination books. He initially refused, stating it was "hard to take off." I had to assist him with one sticker, and he later claimed the others were in the trash. He only provided one box from the bin after I insisted, and his attitude was unprofessional.
Furthermore, Dr. Prabhu wrote the incorrect date in the vaccination books, listing the date of service as September 24, 2025, when the actual date of the visit was September 25, 2025. This is another serious error in our medical records. As a result of these errors, we do not have a complete and accurate record of the vaccinations they received.
I believe these actions demonstrate a disregard for patient care, ethical billing, and professional standards. I request a full refund of the unjustified $98 consultation fee for myself. Furthermore, I expect an explanation for the incomplete and incorrect vaccination records and an assurance that this issue will be addressed with Dr. Prabhu to prevent it from happening to other patients. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to...
Read moreThe doctor is very rude. The service is the most expensive we ever seen around the world. (Over 100 countries visited) You can go to any GP tell the country, the GP will give a prescription to buy a vaccine shot in a pharmacy and a nurse will give a shot. It’ll cost you $50-100, at this place the same vaccine is $350 + “consultation” (checking needed vaccine in a browser). If anyone would like me to google it for you and I can do it just for $20, the doctors will do it for $100. P.S. There is no mistake. The doctor counted a vaccination plan for 2 people, the price was over $2500, we were shocked and got the cheapest shots only. Then we went to another place and have done everything under $500. Also we realised that this clinic charged us 3 consultation (we were with a 1 years old child, it’s their policy to charge for one consultation by the number of people), however they also have charged for 3 vaccines, but our little one did not get any. We had realised later, they issued refund, but no apology. So check all receipts when you go there to not come back for refund. Or better do not go at the first place. That’s not all. The doctor was kinda lazy and issued one certificate for 2 people because we had the same vaccine. We still have problems with that certificate. No one accepts as each person has to...
Read moreThere are much better options out there. They charge you a consultation fee for each visit, even if there is no consultation. Normally the first visit has a consultation and the remaining are just trips for taking your vaccine doses. But over here they charge nearly 100 dollars consultation each time.
I didn't mind paying the above, but the only thing I asked is to update my health record. Told them twice on each visit and then followed up twice and it still had not been done. That is 4 chances that I gave them. The Doctor was fine, but its the front desk staff who is incompetent. And this duty was allocated to them. So please double check your bookings and anything done through front desk as a lot of mistakes are made.
So take my advise, just checkup online on what vaccines you need and go to your GP. There are only some vaccines that are not easy to get through your GP, and those are ones like Rabies. And if you want them, there are plenty more decent travel vaccination centres out there. Don't bother with such an incompetent place who just worry about grabbing your money but don't care about anything after that. I got tired of following up. This is the last time I will go to them. I should have gone with someone else, but sadly due to my time constraints I...
