It was such a joy to experience a traditional circus again! Our kids (aged 4 and 6) had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the show. However, there were a couple of major downsides. The temperature inside the tent was unbearable—at least 10-15 degrees hotter than outside so on the hot summer’s day we attended it was so uncomfortable I had to leave at intermission. Additionally, there was a serious issue with sewage overflow from the portaloos in the entry area. The smell was overwhelming and nauseating. This issue had clearly been left unresolved for days, as friends of ours who attended earlier in the week mentioned the same problem. It’s disappointing that these issues weren’t addressed, as they really detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Hopefully, they can improve these conditions for future guests.

Great experience. Did not expect all we saw. We came in expecting something simple and we were pleasantly surprised on how much we were offered. I laughed so hard I coughed, and couldn’t stop. They also had a couple of rides but we didn’t have time to use them. But the corndog (or whatever it is called) was delicious too! Hard to no give spoilers. But visit them. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely fantastic show for the whole family. Just attended it at Castle Hill Showground in 2025 and cannot emphasise enough how much people should see the show. The performers were engaging and incredibly talented. Highly recommend going if you’re thinking about it!

A Heartfelt Review of Stardust Circus

Last week, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when my girls lost their father. My husband had been so excited about attending Stardust Circus, which made it incredibly difficult for us to go. But staying home felt just as hard, so we decided to honor his memory by attending.

Let me tell you, those two hours gave us something we haven’t had in days—smiles on our faces. It was an emotional escape that we truly needed. My girls were absolutely mesmerized by the performers. Kara’s favorite act was the two young ones on the trapeze (I wish I remembered their names!), while Belinda couldn’t stop talking about the incredible girl who spun by her teeth. Personally, I was captivated by the two boys juggling—what talent!

Every single performer brought their A-game, and the adorable animals added such a special touch. The entire cast and crew should be so proud of what they’ve created. It’s more than a show; it’s an experience that brings light and joy, even in the darkest times.

If you’re hesitating, don’t. Do yourself a favor and catch Stardust Circus before it’s too late. You won’t regret it.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Stardust Circus, for coming to Rose Bay and giving my family a reason to smile when we needed it most. You brought us joy and comfort when we truly...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stardust Circus is amazing in every way! My whole family thoroughly enjoyed the show. There were some complaints about the heat and smell, but let me clarify: the smell was due to excessive rain and the boards put down to assist customers through the mud and wet ground—not sewage, as some have falsely claimed. This has been confirmed by the council.

As for the heat, yes, it was warm during the day, but the staff made every effort to combat this with giant air coolers placed around the tent. If you attend a daytime show on a hot day, expect it to be warm—it's mother nature! If heat is a concern, consider a night show instead of complaining and detracting from an awesome experience.

Thank you, Stardust Circus, for a spectacular performance, and thank you to Woollahra Council for bringing Stardust back to the eastern suburbs—it was long overdue! Keep up the...
