Worst auction experience I have ever had! I purchased a variety of items from the Leuralla estate, two of which had issues. The first item was missing and could not be found while the other did not make its reserve price (which I fully understand) but they did say I could contact the owner to offer them an amount that may be suitable. I contacted the store 8 times and each time they said that they "needed to discuss with the auctioneer" because they didn't have any details. In our final conversation, they said that the missing item was found but that the owner actually decided not to sell it, even though I won it fair and square and no information of the contrary was available at the time of bidding. It has been almost three months since the auction and still no resolutions made, at this point I have given up on the two dolls. If I could leave zero stars I would. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. After entrusting them with the auction of my grandfathers collection, after his passing, I was met with nothing but disappointment. The communication was severely lacking, and to make matters worse, I'm still owed a significant amount of money from the sales. It's been a year, and despite my repeated attempts to get information, I'm was met with vague responses and empty promises, and now they have stopped responding. I've asked Trains, Planes & Automobiles ahead of time to provide the detailed photographs of one of the lots. This auction house had enough time to take photos. But they did not! I would not trust the Trains, Planes & Automobiles auction. And I will not bid on anything they offer. Especially after reading numerous negative reviews left by customers. I am surprised this place is still in business.
