We were visiting the Blue Mountains and we booked to try this place as none of us have tried Tibetan food before. Unfortunately when we arrived they did not have any seats even though we had a reservation but the staff did move tables and chairs around to get us seated. The food took almost an hour to arrive: the momo was quite nice. The broth noodle soups were quite bland and there were barely any meat in it even though we ordered a beef soup. I did add some salt and vinegar to supplement the flavour. We also tried the hot tea, the milk tea is basically English breakfast with lots of milk and sugar, and another tea with salt in it which was a bit odd - may be an acquired taste. Overall the experience is okay. This is located in the heart of the Katoomba village near the train station and also reasonably priced, so I doubt they'd ever be out of customers, but personally I probably would...

The food is uniquely, proudly specific- with delicious and subtle flavours Iād never experienced before. The atmosphere is home-y, familial and kind- a really welcoming spot on a cold night. Same with the service- careful, friendly and generous.
I had the mixed momo- with the potato, beef and chicken being the top 3- each really distinct, succulent and with a good crispiness at the bottom as well as softness on top.
I thought Iād ordered too much- as I got the vege noodles- but the overall balance was just right, with light delicious flavours, crisp greens and soft tofu- so that I really didnāt want to stop eating. The flavours are delicate and the texture of the noodles, greens and tofu are really harmonious.
Overall I was blown away- cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will be telling all my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter seeing 4.5 ratings I recommended my family to have dinner there and we drove long way to get there to have tibetian foods cause we love tibetian foods. Got there and we ordered our food and was expecting to have tibetian food but only the name was Tibet but the food was bland. Chicken fried rice have barely few chickens in it and had frozen corn and peas only. Shabta was eatable. Handmade tibetian dumpling was worse than frozen dumplings at woolworths. Handmade tibetian Noodles was the worse. I don't like wasting food and try to eat everything but it was so bad that we couldnot eat at all. I felt so, sorry for my family that I took them that long way to taste the worse food ever. Expectation was 10 but got 0.5 quality food. Will never go there again and don't recommend anyone...
