Sopranos Gourmet Pizza Pasta & Kebab — Restaurant in Sydney

I had a long, it was cold and I was on the lookout for comfort food that I loved when growing up. It is obvious that the only solution is kebabs. I had travelled from a regional centre where our kebab situation was not guaranteed on a regular basis. Having noticed the establishment the night before I made a decision to return to Sopranos to try and recapture my loving memories of having a kebab that fulfilled a hunger hole of my youth in the Sydney metro area. I wasn't able to extend myself to attempt their pasta or pizza, but it seemed like their pizzas were highly prized because the preponderance of pizzas in the oven. I went my old faithful order (chicken, lettuce, tomato and onion, topped with garlic and hot chili sauce). The kebab held its integrity as I slowly unwound the foil to reveal my bounty. As the elixir of sauces opened up my respiratory system and warmed me from the inside radiating out wards I was transported back to my youth. A time when I would travel 40 minutes late at night to pick up a kebab at the Lansdowne servo. What topped off the experience was being called "boss" by my server. That is what a Sydney kebab experience should always be - thank you gentlemen. Not a place for a romantic date but definitely a place to go to if you are a lover of the late night...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sopranos Pizza, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza—absolutely divine! The crust was perfectly crisp and golden, while the toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor. I opted for their signature Veggie Supreme Pizza with my own toppings and it was the best decision I could have made. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, leaving me craving more!

The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual night out or a special celebration. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was exceptional, checking in regularly and offering great recommendations.

I only ever write reviews when I absolutely love something or the opposite.. I hate writing negative reviews however I have to say I am very disappointed with the food I received last night. First of all we ordered the Large Pizza Deal of $26 which includes a Large Classic Pizza, 1.25ml Drink and Garlic Bread, and a Pasta for $14 as stated on their website the total was $40.00. My husband was charged $43.00 and was given a "can" of Coke instead of a larger sized coke as mentioned in the deal on your website, we requested a BBQ Base but was given a smear of Tomato you could hardly taste and the meat on the pizza was cold, the meat in the pasta was also not cooked properly. I had to reheat and cook it at home before eating. It's not about the money, and I don't care for logistics of my example but what annoys me is the principle behind it and the recklessness of the service to over charge and under deliver.
