Hello! The Dinosaur Exposition was amazing. Anyone that said it wasn't worth it was probably blind and didn't read about the expo at all. Like what did y'all expect DINOSAURS ALIVE?!?! No it was truly amazing the models were very realistic, also totally Jurassic Park and World style which I love. Many of them were actually in REAL SIZES which was absolutely mesmerizing to see giants like that moving. Especially the TRex is real life size like wow. My favorite is Spinosaurus. She wasn't in real life adult form but more like juvenile. Also loved couple of Allosaurus. Female and male were easily distinguishable by markings and facial elements meant for display. Also loved Giga. That was a total Jurassic Wolrd Giga. She totally looked like a dragon I loved her. Also reminded me of Indominus the Queen. Carcharadontosaurus was there too. Blue our favorite girlie as well. She had a sound effect of mountain lion it was so funny and great. Also Cryolophosaurus is real life size... HORRIBLY SCARY I would never want to meet her in real life. Would die in a second. Pachycephalosaurus as well. Tho being a herbive she was so scary. I would never want to encounter her IRL. Would pee my pants. There were even dinosaurs I heard about for the first time which is quite impressive since I am well educated in Dinosaurs and paleonthology but it at least shows that there isn't a finishing line and there's always room for improvement. The hall was very spacious, roomy, wasn't crowded at all but that's because I went in the evening for the exactly this reason. To avoid people. There were very nice smelling toilets I must say. Lol. And also Food and souvenir stalls. But you could only pay in cash which.... I dunno in 21 century. Like I haven't used cash probably since I was a little girl or teenager in 2010 seriously. It's 2025 herro?? No but but really. Terminals should be everywhere. Other than that I Love it. The staff at the entrance was super nice. The guards aka sbs.... hm..... hmmmmm..... I rather not talk about them. One of those that think that just because they work in security they are Arnold Swarzenegger..... Well anyways, I Love it. I am super happy I went. I walked from Vienna Central Bus Station. It was like 3 kilometers. I managed to get there in 29 minutes but totally died and was resurrected by dinosaurs upon my arrival. Don't do that. The way back was a race and well and I almost lost it. Definitely don't do it like me. Then when I arrived at bus station I found out that the bus had 25 minute delay. Almost threw myself under the bus. Literally and figuratively. I really needed to get home. Anyways, definitely will go again if there will be any interesting convention again....
Read moreI visited the dinos with a 3 years old boy. I gave just four stars because it was good. I already visited some dinos parks and certainly it is a better one, but after this marketing I thought it was different in a better way plus for us, it was too early to visit such a place. I did not recommend it for a 3/4 years old although all kids are different. A lot of dinos are quite big even for an adult's eye. Yeah, they were big, huge animals. On the spot, everything is like in the short video on the homepage. I sometimes missed the infos about the dinos ( it was difficult to find and was just in German language available). It was crowded, and I think the ticket price is high for this show, but this is my opinion. Once was ok. If the kid is smiling at least once ,it is good, and it is Xmas time. Merry Xmas...
