Great place for shopping. Most probably the largest super shop here in Dhaka. You can find almost anything of your need in a very well organized place. Hours of shopping doesn't feel tiring here because of the decoration and quality of products available there. The food products were very good, as I did shop my monthly kitchen supply from there. You can find food products of both local and foreign brands. They have their own food corner with different set of menus. Could not try the meals, but the snacks were okay, not something exquisite though. I mostly tried the desserts, a few of available ones. Other than their own, they also accommodate a few third party restaurants and cafe, who delivers their own quality food, nothing to blame or credit unimart for. The cloths section was vast. Really loved their collections of almost all the renowned international brands. They had good sportswear and underwear collections. Best part of unimart is the little book corner. If you are a reader, you would love it so much, that you might find yourself visiting the place just to walk around the book corner and check them beautiful originally printed books, which are kind of difficult to find here in Bangladesh. Being said all the good stuff, the price is a bit on high side, since they strongly maintain the high quality of their products. It is kind of understandable, but this place certainly is not for everyone's regular shopping. Allover, it has been one of my greatest experience shopping in Bangladesh, if not the greatest. I would totally recommend this...
Read moremy recent visit to Unimart Gulshan 2 was quite comprehensive. This isn't just your average supermarket; it's a well-organized hypermarket catering to a discerning clientele. Spread across multiple floors, Unimart offers an extensive range of products, from fresh produce (including some imported varieties) and meats to electronics, household goods, and even a decent selection of toys. What stands out is the clean and spacious layout, making navigation relatively easy. I appreciated the clearly marked sections and the overall pleasant shopping atmosphere. The bakery section, "Indulge," greets you with tempting aromas and offers both sweet and savory treats. There's also a cafe, Hanover St Café, in collaboration with North End Coffee Roasters, perfect for a quick break. While the variety and quality are generally good, prices tend to be on the higher side, reflecting its Gulshan 2 location. The staff are usually helpful, though during peak hours, they can be a bit stretched. As a one-stop shop for a wide array of needs, Unimart Gulshan 2 provides a comfortable and reliable shopping experience, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 stars from this Local Guide. It's a place where you can find most of what you're looking for under one roof, albeit...
