Great Experience!
The reason we all missed going out to eat, is not just the food, but the whole Experience.
And while visiting Bangladesh, visiting The Grove Bistro to meet a friend was indeed a great experience... Keeping the excitement of meeting my bestie a side, following are the reasons:
Hygiene: While choosing the eatery, my first and only criteria was a place that maintained the Safety Guidelines... and they absolutely did! Starting from all members of the team wearing necessary PPE to providing shoe disinfectant, to temperature checking to maintaining social distancing, disinfecting the furnitures after every customer left... everything was immaculate.
Ambiance: The raggedy yet elegant interior alongside the skyline view is absolutely stunning. You canât avoid appreciating the details they have put in.
Service: Very polite, friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.
Food: Food tasted world class! Absolutely amazing! Weâve had
Orange Mojito (non alcoholic) which was a little too sweet to my taste but that is due to me developing a habit of having low sugar food. Just ask the team, they will adjust the sweetness to your taste. It was nice combo of orange and mint, very refreshing!
Seafood Chowder Soup and it was fresh and full of flavour with the right amount of seasoning
Rib eye stake, a perfect âmediumâ, accompanied with sautĂ© veg (tad oily), mashed potato and a dash of refreshing green sauce
Affogato was lovely, just the right strength of espresso đ
I would definitely...

Would've given 5 star if the price wasn't that much high because the taste is really good. Enjoyed each item very much. They serve the mushroom soup on bread, so the quantity is veryy less. Actually most of the soup is absorbed by the bread, so you don't get to taste the actual soup much. I'm not saying the bread soaked soup is bad. I kinda enjoyed it but still It's just that couldn't actually taste the soup because the amount was very less and most of it gets absorbed. Though when we told them later about it while paying the bill, they said they are also willing to serve the soup on a bowl if anyone asks. They even offered us to serve again. But we declined as we were full. So one point for their nice and warm behavior. We also ordered chicken carbonara. The pasta tasted really well with plenty of mushrooms and chickens. If you like white sauce, I will recommend this. Chicken Cordon Bleu seemed average to me. Tasted better with the garlic sauce they...
Read moreThe Groove Bistro offers a vibrant ambiance ideal for group hangouts and intimate couple outings alike. Nestled in the heart of Dhaka city, its central location is convenient but comes with a price â quite literally. While the menu boasts tantalizing dishes, some patrons find the prices slightly inflated. However, the quality of the food does justify the cost to some extent. Yet, one can't help but wish for a more captivating view from the restaurant to fully justify the expense.
Despite this, the establishment has its charms. The smoking zone stands out as a haven for engaging conversations, providing a relaxed atmosphere away from the main dining area. It's a delightful spot for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Overall, The Groove Bistro caters well to social gatherings, offering decent food and a cozy ambiance. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, its convenient location and pleasant environment make it worth considering for those looking for a relaxed hangout...
