So first and foremost, we didn't even make it to this trip.
We arrived on a Tuesday at the Fairmont Lake Louise for a stay. One of the first things I wanted to do was to book the horse ride around the lake. We, myself and the hotel Concierge attempted to call the Stables at ALL 3 of their provided numbers. And none were picked up. This went on for pretty much the entire day. And there was no response from Brewster.
The next day we, myself and the Concierge team attempted to call Brewster again and would you be surprised. There was no response again. Meanwhile I had already send them a message on Instagram and yes, there was no reply. We finally managed to reach Brewster team on the Wednesday afternoon. And manage through the Concierge to book a slot for Friday, 9am ride for 2. They took my card details and also email. So you would think the job is done?
The card was charged yes, but there was no confirmation email. On Thursday we attempted to reach out to Brewster again but there was no reply. It was only at 2pm when the Concierge team managed to get hold of them, did Brewster call back. And said they would send the confirmation email. By this time, it was already less than 24hrs before the ride.
We decided to cancel our ride because we've already booked another trip for another activity. We however are unable to cancel our ride, because our trip is now less than 24hrs away. So, how are we supposed to cancel before 24hours, when we received our confirmation less than 24hrs before the ride?
When the staff Lacey replied to my email, she mentioned that they received the wrong email, and it was not their fault. Let this be on record that i stood infront of the Concierge when she read out the email twice over the phone tk Brewster. Strangely, they got the entire card details right, but they cannot get 1 email right.
So facts of case. They are constantly unreachable in all their provided contact numbers They are not friendly people and from all the ratings, you can see why We did walk to the Stables meetup point on Wednesday to try do a face to face enquiry. We met ka bunch of customers who were ALL on time or early for their ride, but the Brewster team was nowhere to be found. Even when there in an error, they offered no apology, no form of mediation, it was a straight no refund, period.
I strongly do not recommend this company. And highly recommend everyone to think thrice before you make a...
ย ย ย Read moreIt was my daughters birthday and all she wanted was to go spend time with mom and maybe go horseback riding. We backpack a lot, we love and understand the outdoors but this was something else. So I did a surprise birthday trip 4 days with mom and horses. What she got was a major heath risk. This company offers 2 and 4 day pack trips via "programmed horses". When we started out we had so much excitement and happiness. We were told they provide bedding, food and all we need to bring is clothing and hygiene items (not sure the point considering). When we arrived at the first cabin it started to go down hill fast. The "kitchen cabin" was not rustic, it was abandoned! Mice droppings all over everything...okay that can happen, however the second "kitchen cabin" had been left with a fried mouse on the stove and a molding coffee pot. Then the cabins we were told to sleep in had the bedding in them with mice and god knows what else droppings all over them. In the morning my daughter woke to a bat fling around in our cabin. The table we sat at to eat our dinner was surrounded with dead fly's and mice droppings. 2016 was the date on the tea and coffee creamer provided for us. I could not get off this carousel fast enough. My daughter to young to understand the health concern did enjoy the trip however I the paying customer was appalled at the lack of support the staff had. Guides were two 18yr olds on the first and fourth trip ever were trying so hard to figure it out, I really wish them luck because management is failing them! The staff are...
ย ย ย Read moreOur family booked a trail ride to the Plain of Six Glaciers teahouse and had an amazing time! The horses were great animals and made the experience an adventure. Our guides were experts and their expertise was invaluable. We actually encountered a tour from another company along the way and that guide did not have control of his group. So much so that our guides had to step in, help them regain control, and still keep track of all of us and keep us in order. They were both happy to share their experiences with the land and horses, which added much to the experience. Some of my family had never been on a horse before, and these guides made a deliberate effort to teach and guide them through the whole process. Our only regret is that, because of some slow members of our party, we did not have time to enjoy the teahouse. There was barely time for a bathroom break and to wolf down some food. My wife had wanted to look at merchandise and we had hoped to be able to enjoy the food more. At the same time, we appreciate the guides for trying to keep us on the schedule - it was just disappointing. We were looking for a different kind of experience at Lake Louise and this ride exceeded our expectations. If you book a ride, we're sure you...
