I always love a Farmer’s Market, I think partly because you never know what you will find. We always miss the Bayfield Market on Fridays, being from out of town, but finally caught it today. It’s early in the year (May 23rd), and is quite cool and wet, but I am glad I visited the six or seven vendors that were on hand. Off the top Clan Gregor Square is a beautiful spot to hold the market. The vendors were well spaced out and there was a nice choice of goods. Vegetables, herbs, baked goods, flowers, meats, local hot sauce and spice vendor, and some type of infused vodka milk liqueur (wish I still drank!). Anyway, left with some radishes, asparagus, hot sauce and baked goods. Well...

Needless to say that has all changed now we are not able to due to social distancing etc which we totally get. Thank god Shop Bike stepped up to continue the tradition virtually with curb side pickup! This allows us to continue getting the local food we love and support our local businesses which is needed now more than ever as so many of them are struggling. We would not have a market...
