Came here with my friends on my birthday, this one employee was really sweet and helped me get a sanitary product. me and my friends went to see the texas chainsaw movie⌠we sat in the back rows. halfway in the movie we quietly whispered to each other about leaving the movie for a minute because it was getting too intense. then the lady a row down from us a couple chairs down kept starring at us. we couldnât help but laugh at her stare which probably made things worse but she was starring horrendously long . then she shushed us. we honestly were laughing at her rudeness over her getting triggered over us whispering about discussing to leave or not for a minute . she then gets up and starts being confrontational . i told her she needs to chill and she got even more mad and said she knew the manager and can get us kicked out. the manager came up , did not make the effort to hear what was going on- from our side and said there are complaints from multiple people ( the lady being confrontational with us was getting her friends to go down one by one and complain to get us out ) but we were planning to leave anyways. the manager tells us we need to be quiet or leave. she was very rude and me and my friend were trying to discuss about leaving for a second and she said yes or no, she was talking down on us like we were children. it was not handled properly or professionally and that girl who kept on starring and being confrontational needs to learn how to approach things appropriately and calm the hell down. iâm not coming back here again. we paid for tickets too . both sides should be looked into, manager is biased and unprofessional, i never got talked down to in such a disrespect way. i will hand it to the employee she was awesome and she made my night , besides the cranky lady complaining and the unprofessional rude management. theatres are so messy and unclean, popcorn is mid, the frozen yogurt is disgusting and the toppings are expired and horrendous isnât even the word to describe them. just rude management , sheâs probably a nightmare to work with her...

Maybe 5 people in theater... super quiet.
So quiet that they didn't care enough to clean the theater, they didn't bother making fresh popcorn ( it was the absolute worst /stale) plus the AC was cranked so incredibly high (not a hot day outside). Shocked by how other cineplex theatres are updated with better seats, screens, food choices etc and yet Burlington being such a big community, rated best or 2nd best place to live and with so much $ in this city, they can't give us a decent updated theatre. Sad.
The cherry on top was when we spoke to the supposed manager on phone re this horrible Experience. MATT (who wasn't clear to us whether he was or wasn't a manager) heard our complaint. He didn't care to do anything to compensate the horrible experience instead he was unprofessional enough to say that he didn't work that shift, he doesn't know, I don't care, not my issue etc...(all while yelling and speaking over my wife's voice)
My wife is 5 foot, 90 lbs and as quiet as a mouse but sees it important to bring things like this up to the attention of a business to help benefit the company and help promote positive experiences especially in a great community as Burlington . But...instead of hearing my wife, he dismisses her points without concern and yells over her voice, continuously cutting her off and not allowing her to speak.
It's important for EVERYONE to be heard to be respected ,to have our needs met as customers because we are the bread n butter of the business, we keep your business running , hence paying all employees.
The conversation was on speaker, we both were witnesses and we don't condone anyone to be treated nor spoken to in such a degrading condescending , rude, bully-like behaviour. Head office will be our...
Read moreIf your movie is on screen 6, get a refund. Screen 6 is completely screwed up. I think the fire department should drop by! These were the issues I had while seeing WEAPONS: There is a massively bright green and white sign facing toward the audience just beside the bottom right of the screen that stays lit up, not dimming at all for the entire movie. It projects into your eyes and is much brighter than the screen when it's not a brightly lit scene. Furthermore it spills green light all over the bottom right corner of the image which is visible when the scene is not very bright. Insanely distracting and bone-headed solution to not having an emergency exit on that side. The sign is supposedly pointing out that the emergency exit door is on the other side of the auditorium, but being that it's green and has a picture of a person going through a door on it, it really makes it look like there actually is a door under the sign. So, beside being insanely distracting and ruining the atmosphere of any horror movie, it's actually beyond pointless in that I would expect it to get people killed or hurt in an actual emergency as more than half the people in the theatre rush toward the "green is go" signal that looks like it indicates an egress. Incredibly embarassing and legally perilous semiotics fail here. I could see through the screen to some staff doors behind the screen that were not fully closed. The EXIT sign above the main doors is reflected in the screen. Something I've never seen before. 4, The AC vent above the top left of the screen rattles loudly whenever a certain low frequency is played. It's either that or a speaker needs maintenance.
I'll never risk screen 6 again....
