I bought 3 Moltinas from what appears to be a full, new case of blind boxes. I opened them all in store after purcharsing and two of them were duplicates? I asked how it was possible to get dupes from a full case and they said "Oh sorry... That's really weird and shouldn't happen, but we don't mark boxes when employees refill product".
?????????????
Every other blind box store I've been to has marked when blind boxes come from previous cases so customers know to not purchase boxes from a new case and an old case together. They withhold information from the customer, refuse to give a refund or exchange when this happens, and still do not mark their boxes when they come from different cases. The best they could offer was to tell me to keep coming back to check when they have a trader available but a month has passed and they still don't have a trader for the series I purchased from.
Don't buy any blind boxes from here, especially if you're planning to get multiple. You have a high chance of buying duplicates and wasting your money because they don't do exchanges or have a proper trading system. I used to buy from Token frequently but I'm not going back to buy anything else after this...
Read moreI saw on Instagram Story that the Labubu "Time to Chill" release would be at 4 PM, so I immediately drove to the Metro store. I arrived around 3 PM, only to be told that I couldn't queue up because the security would come to kick us out. If it's a highly sought-after product and there's no order for lining up, it should be first come, first served. But it's not fair to those who arrived early, waiting outside for an hour or half an hour. When 4 PM hit, everyone rushed into the store – is that really the fairest system? Does this "no queue" approach represent your token brand style?
How does the cashier determine who gets to buy first and who doesn't? I ended up being the last or second-to-last customer to purchase. I waited for an hour, so if those who came early and genuinely wanted the product didn’t get it because of no proper order, while resellers just walked in without waiting, I would have been very upset.
Also, the cashier’s attitude was appalling – she was rolling her eyes at customers, as if we were begging her to let us buy something. She seemed to look down on the customers. Token really needs to train their staff properly on customer service and how to handle...
Read moreHorrible experience...long line up with resellers re-lining up buying multiple labubu without any issues but saleswoman won't allow family to buy for 2 kids and their cousins for Christmas. Our kids have been wanting to get the fall in wild pendant so they asked if they can each get one but was told a hard No to their face,.. not even allowed to pay separately for themselves. Meanwhile resellers can buy multiples without issues.. A toystore limiting kids to buy...
