This was the worst store experience I’ve ever had in my life and it was all because of the manager on shift. I came in with a return, brand new sealed in the package, with my receipt. I was told because my cc card numbers were different (due to my card expiring and getting sent a new card with new numbers) that I could not return my item. She then proceeded to tell me to contact Sephora through the online chat to return by mail. How rediculous is that. When the item was purchased IN store. I decided to stay at the store while talking to the online chat in Sephora. The lady in my online chat advised me that it would be NO PROBLEM to refund me to my new up to date card. The manager told me, regardless of what I was told, she’s not returning my item. First of all, she told me to contact Sephora through chat and I did exactly what she told me to do. Then when the person online stated multiple times it’s no problem, SHE STILL REFUSED TO RETURN MY ITEM WHICH WAS BRAND NEW SEALED WITH A RECEIPT! I spent close to 30 minutes trying to get a refund and was still refused with PROOF infront of her eyes by Sephora themselves! Shocked and frustrated as a rouge Sephora member who spends THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of dollars with this company to be treated this way and refused to return an item that was FULLY ALLOWED TO RETURN I was forced to go to another Sephora, which was in Chinook mall where they refunded me with not even one question to my new card. This is absolutely not okay how this person treated me and what they did. They TOLD ME TO CONTACT SEPHORA. I did. While standing there showing them the chat. Sephora said yes no problem the store can put on your new card. And she looked at me and said “well im not”. This is unacceptable behaviour from a manager that isn’t even logical. How can Sephora themselves say yes it’s okay then the manager tell me no. This store should really reevaluate who is the manager there. Hands down go to chinook centre mall over this complete headache of a store with a manager that is beyond rude and doesn’t even follow there own company rules. Because of this managers behaviour and attitude they seriously almost lost me as a customer forever. Luckily chinook mall with the easy breeze of a transaction was able to change my mind. As well as the ladies I was talking with through the online chat they were so pleasant and nice. That’s what I’m use to when shopping at Sephora. Not this nightmare. Although I will never step foot in this store again in my life. I advise no one else does either unless you want to be treated terribly and not follow the rules of the company for returns. Read moreI came in for a Glam over. I'd never had a Glam over before so I had high expectations. I have done the 60 minute make overs lots before at chinook and south centre so for the look I wanted I figured a glamover would be better. I even had a picture of previous make up for reference. It did not turn out well. I felt like the artist was pretty amateur and not a highly skilled and trained artist like advertised. A lot of time was spent trying to make corrections to things I did not like. I didn't want fluffy brows. I left with messy brows. One was combed down and the other was standing up. The artist mixed 2 foundations together and it did not match my skin. It was hard to tell there but everyone noticed when I got home. I had even mentioned a specific brand that I loved that I new would work for me and she made her own decisions anyway. I was told by a few people that I looked "cute"...I didn't go there and pay 90 dollars for a Glam over to look cute. I wanted to look Glam. She did try to fix a few things but I left really underwhelmed and had to fix alot of it at home myself. I probably would not return to this location again for a Glam over. Read moreAlways a positive experience whenever I go to this location. The ladies are always so welcoming, very friendly and so helpful. I usually have my 3 and half year old girl with me and the ladies always talk to her and make her feel good. We were there a few weeks ago and when we left my little girl says “mommy I like going there because they’re always so nice” I feel the need to mention this because a lot of retail stores who sell high end/expensive products sometimes will give that look like “a Small child does not belong in a store like this” but at this location the ladies always make my little girl feel special knowing she’s not there to make any purchases and they still go out of their way to be nice. I absolutely love going to this location. It doesn’t matter if I’m there to spend $50 or $500, the ladies have always been welcoming and super sweet. I’ve probably been here at least 10 or more times and have yet to experience any negativity and can’t think of a single thing to complain about.
