UPDATE December 1, 2022 Since discovering Indian Flavors last year, we had been ordering takeout regularly (every 4-6 weeks). The last couple of times we ordered take out, we noticed a sharp decline in portion sizes and increase in prices. The quality continues to be excellent, however, disappointed in the portion v. cost. I called the first time to comment about portion sizes and was told there may have been a mix up in the kitchen. There was no offer to correct the issue. A couple weeks ago, we ordered take out and again, portion sizes were ridiculous, considering the $190 order! Sorry Indian Flavors, understandable there has been a rise in cost of food, but decreasing portions and increasing cost isn't going to keep your customers happy, or returning.
From 2021: Ordered a number of dishes over the phone for pick up for a group of 6. First time ordering from Indian Flavors and very impressed. Their website is very informative although, none of the dishes had the sprinkle of coriander or fresh herb as shown on the site). The person who took our phone order was also very helpful in our selections. Everything was delicious, spicy (would probably ask for mild next time), tasty, fragrant, fresh. We will definitely order again but I would suggest, throw some coriander or parsley on top of...
Read moreIf you're a fan of authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! It's one of our family's favorite spots, offering an amazing variety of delicious dishes that cater to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
One standout dish is their Vindaloo, which you can enjoy either vegetarian or with beef – it's always full of flavor and perfectly spiced. The Tikka Masala is another favorite, also available in both vegetarian and beef options, and it's simply divine. Each dish pairs wonderfully with their aromatic rice and soft, freshly baked naan.
As a family with diverse tastes, no single dish hasn't wowed us. What makes it even better is that they offer different spice levels, so you can adjust the heat to your personal preference.
Their platters are a great choice for those looking to try a variety of flavors. These shareable plates offer a little bit of everything and are perfect for groups or families.
And don’t forget to indulge in their Indian coffee and milkshakes – they're a treat in themselves! To top it all off, the selection of Indian desserts is outstanding. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or rich, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an unforgettable meal that offers both variety and...
Read moreOn the way home after a long day at work and we decide that we want to go to our favorite Indian restaurant Indian Flavors. We arrived to be greeted by our amazing waitress Julie. Who sat us right away. We have missed our visits to this spot for their amazing lunch buffet. But our meal tonight made up for the time. I would have to say that we did not make it easy on Julie with three separate orders! Our dinner order was the Tandori Platter with chicken and lamb which was an amazing medley of flavors that was complimented with a Mango curry vegetable dish, coconut rice and of course garlic naan bread, The meal was absolutely incredible and the dishes have been added to our lists of must haves. Next we took the butter chicken and basmati rice and cheese naan bread home for our kids to eat. They were both amazed by how flavorful it was. Finally my wife took the butter chicken sauce, mango curry sauce along with her on her girls weekend to Canmore. Julie was amazing and remembered everything we order after hearing it one time!
Would recommended this quaint little spot to truly experience the Indian Flavors!!! Thanks...
