Dar's is the spot to shop for fresh meat, produce, cheese and more. My husband and I have been shopping here for years now and I tell you, I'll never buy grocery store meat again! Coming from someone who has never really liked meat, that's saying a lot. Their ground beef is by far the best I've had, chicken breast are incredible to the point where I've forgotten to salt and pepper in a hasty cooking adventure but they were still perfect in flavour. We walk in and feel like part of the family, which makes the shopping experience that much better. They've done a great job through the lockdowns this past year, too, even with a small location. It's worth the wait to get inside but I just learned they're offering curbside pickup, too, which is super convenient with a small baby this time of year. I find the prices extremely reasonable for the quality of product you get in return. Compared to prices at large grocery stores, Dar's really isn't more expensive. And you have to try the garlic! I was dealing with large appliance store locally that sold Traeger Grills and was very disappointing in their service and customer communication. I had been waiting several days for a grill that was purchased to be put together as I had a deadline of when I would need it. I had enough of being left in the dark and called Dar's. The customer service was a 180 from this other retailer. They were very prompt to tell me about promotions and how they operated the business (build the grill and conditioned it). When I went to pick it up that evening they were beyond professional with showing me the details of the bbq and accessories I could purchase in the future. To add icing on the cake, they even called three days later to make sure I was happy with everything. If you need to shop ANYTHING Traeger, call Dar's and they will get you set up for a very reasonable price. This is a cute little store that offers all kinds of meats, deli, veg, fruit, preserves, bakery items, and wood pellets for the Traeger Wood Pellet grill. The owner is amazing for support on the Traeger. We bought ours from a dealer closer to us, who provided appalling service and support, when delivered. My husband was referred to Dar's by our neighbour, who HAD bought his pellet grill here. This delightful man happily came to our house, and demonstrated and performed the set up, first burn and all the other things, the dealer we worked with DIDN'T provide, which should have been done. So we only deal with Dar's for all our pellets, and we support and our chase various items to support this amazing business.
