In the pouring rain our fellow farmers and wholesome hearted distributors along with patrons were happily nourishing themselves with great local foods. During such a time of so-called pandemia our community seems to be thriving with great heartfelt exchanges. We are so very blessed to have such consciousness surrounding us in such unusual times.
I was sharing with a vendor how for the first time in my life I began gardening and I am now 44 years old. I bought some beans home and other produce from Costco the other day and my awareness was struck when I saw Mexico and other countries on the packaging. While on the other hand, in my arms reach I soon realized that we have everything we need and more with such abundance. I hope that more of us in the community will awaken to our microcosm here where we can all sustain ourselves and thrive together!
