This was my first experience purchasing car insurance, and I chose to go through the dealership since it was also my first vehicle. At the time of signing, I was not informed that two separate insurance policies were involved. When I later returned to the insurance office to fully cancel the registration and return my license plates, I was assured that all necessary cancellations had been completed. They even provided me with a cancellation confirmation and verbally confirmed that nothing further was required.
Despite this, an unexpected charge of $57—on top of a $77 cancellation fee—was later deducted from my bank account. Upon calling the insurance office, I was informed that the charge was related to “DriveSure” insurance. They acknowledged their oversight, promised to cancel it, and mentioned that an additional cancellation fee would apply, which I accepted. However, the policy was not cancelled as promised, and the charge recurred the following month.
Only after repeated follow-ups and completing a cancellation form did the insurance company finally process the cancellation. While they did reach out to DriveSure regarding a possible refund, they later suggested that the error was due to my own negligence. I do not believe this to be fair, as I took all the proper steps and followed their guidance throughout.

What may appear professional on the surface can sometimes lead to avoidable costs due to lack of transparency or miscommunication. I don’t recommend this insurance...

I had a highly disappointing experience with Choice Insurance. They made false promises about providing me with a license plate for my car, which they ultimately couldn't deliver. Initially, they assured me that they would handle everything, but I haven't heard anything from them since.
When I followed up about the plate, they had the audacity to tell me to go to another agent who could actually provide it. First of all, I didn't ask you to come to the dealership for insurance, you lied to get business and were there because of your salesperson friend.
This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable. They misled me to gain my business and then failed to follow through on their promises. I strongly advise against trusting Choice Insurance. You're better off dealing with a company that has integrity and actually delivers on their promises.
