EDIT UPON REPLY FROM OWNERS: I am actually appalled by your reply! You've heard a lot about me from other restaurants?!?! There is no way for you to know who I am or which restaurants I take my business to outside of my google reviews which anyone can see and you are the only business in Delta that Ive left a review for. If you would like to know though ive taken my business across the street to Minori Sushi and highly reccomened your customers to do the same. As I mentioned in my intial review you have multiple other complaints about customer service. Grow up and take ownership for your poor customer service skills. Pathetic. Ive eaten at your restaurant dozens of time and I finally got tired of you screwing up our orders and blaming us. Simple as that.
We have ordered food from here countless times over the last few years both through Skip and over the phone where we pick up.
Ive lost count of how many times they've messed up our order. Even when it's been written instruction through the Skip app. Ive never complained. I have had to remind them many times when ordering they messed up the previous time but it never stops it from happening again and again.
Today I finally had enough of the mess ups.
I called and the server who took my order tried to blame me by saying I never said "no cream cheese". My partner was sitting right next to me as I made the order so I know for certain that's what I said. Luckily for him it's a preference and not an allergy because many rolls would have ended up in the garabge by now.
Didnt appreciate the gaslighting and being told I never said it when there was two of us there when I placed the order. Maybe for once after so many times messing up you could compensate us once. Over it. Not that hard to get an order right especially when it's written instruction through an app.

Their service was friendly.
We tried assorted sashimi, which had a nice presentation, but the server didn't know what they were. None of them were fresh, and I couldn't find Toro sashimi. I saw white fish next to ebi, but that's not toro to me.
My husband ordered oysters motoyaki, which was the worst we've had in our lives. They put four tiny pieces of frozen fishy oysters around the plate, with a big slice of raw onion in the middle, a bunch of spinach with sweet sesame dressing underneath, and the whole dish was covered with thick, sweet, and spicy sesame dressing on top. It tasted awful. They also put shredded beet roots and carrots on the side. I had one bite of everything and then didn't touch it anymore. My husband finished it for me.
The prawn tempura was fresh, hot, and crispy, but we could tell they used dated oil. I ate it without the batter, but the aftertaste from the old oil was too strong for me, so I needed to buy an ice matcha latte to rinse my mouth.
The California roll was nothing special.
The Todai roll looked messy to me. The menu said it was a dynamite roll with spicy tuna and tobiko on top, but I saw a yam tempura roll with spicy mashed tuna and small shrimp tempura on top. I couldn't find any tobiko on top or inside the roll. My husband was afraid they would do something with our food if we returned it, so we didn't.

Read moreI use to come to todai sushi a lot because it was very close to my house. I have always brought my friends and family here. April 1st around 3:30pm I encountered the rudest waitress! The restaurant was absolutely empty! We asked for the booth and just because she didn’t want to clean a booth for two people she refused us saying it’s only two of you and that she would have to clean a whole booth!! I’m sorry, but your the restaurant is empty!! That is your job!! I also brought to her attention that I’ve come there numerous times and it’s always mean two customers and never in life have I had anyone say such a thing to me. She ignored me and walked away and put water onto the little corner wooden table. She was so rude and mean about it! I’m was shocked. I told my cousin I feel uncomfortable and will not give my business to such a place. We then went to nordel sushi!! And let me tell you!! I guess the owners changed and it’s a complete glow up in there! I’m slightly very happy that I went and tried a new place which was soooo fresh and well presented, soo good!!! Now I’m obsessed and can’t stop going there🤣 ps. Customers are a holy grail for businesses, who should not be treated the way we were treated, it was disgusting behaviour.
