An amazing shop!

Stopped in on a whim as I love checking out game stores as you never know what you’ll find!

This shop had so much to offer, from board games, to card games of many types, puzzles and mind puzzle games, Magic playing cards, to Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons books, cards, game sets, dice, and mini figures to paint!

They even have a games room to play cards or board games with others! I did also notice a drink counter they must have available on certain days which is pretty cool!

The prices seem pretty fair as this is a small business and the products you’ll find are things that are not always so common in most big company game stores.

Plus, they have out (at my time if visit) some freebies of magic cards which is super nice :). Gives you a peak at what the cards and game look like to get you started!

I don’t normally write reviews unless the store/staff is incredibly Inept OR I have an experience that is remarkably good. I was in Up North Games last week and the amount of product they carry is amazing but what is even better is the attention to detail that the staff there has! They know the games and the details for playing! We had a lot of rain last week so having board games really helped to pass the indoor time! We spent a week in Muskoka last year and I only wish I found them then - this years vacation was even better. We spent nights building memories and laughing with the few games that we bought! Amazing people and a great inventory. The people who run it are always incredible and so helpful, demo board games, loyalty points programs, truly knowledgeable staff, and the some of the best customer service ever. This is the store that got me into board games, and I make a point of buying our games here, they will help you find the right game, whatever your interests or level of experience, and unlike other stores they have actually played most games and have tons of them to open up and see or test-play.
