I visited this business yesterday and was very much looking forward to some quality chocolate. All of the chocolates in the glass display case are made in house with "the finest Belgian chocolate". I purchased 6 chocolates (2 milk chocolate mouse, 2 mint, and 2 peppermint). While I was waiting for my order to be weighed and given my total, the girl helping me set my order aside and helped the next person in line. I had to move back directly in front of the cashier to ensure she didn't keep taking other customers despite being in the middle of a transaction. Another girl working behind the counter ignored the long line and kept walking around instead of helping customers who were trying to make purchases. Despite being put off by this experience I waited until we got back to the car to try one of the chocolates. I ate half of the mouse chocolate and it did not taste good. I gave the other half to my husband who also not impressed. I decided maybe it was just that one chocolate and tried one of the mint chocolates. Sadly, the quality is just not there. Laura Secord has better chocolate and that's not saying much.

Overall, very disappointed in my experience and will not be returning the next time I'm...

Poor service, very rude staff, no one came to check us out, or acknowledge us after standing at the register for a very long time. When we told staff we were ready to check out after waiting in length for someone to notice us, they simply said “we’re busy” and continued to ignore us standing at the till.

When we approached the “ice cream counter” to try and cash out our chocolate, we were then told we cannot cash out chocolate at this register, and were reprimanded by a young female worker for standing in the wrong line. She proceeded to tell us we had to stand at the other till to cash out.

Everyone ordering ice cream was being attended to, but no one came to cash us out. There should be proper signage if you don’t want people cashing out chocolate at the ice cream counter, or at the very least, make sure those customers at the other counter are also being attended too, as myself and others were waiting longer.

We were baffled and thus left without purchasing any items (others did the same). ...

Today's incident . I was face plamed by an employee. When it was our turn we were skipped then the family after us were served and we had to wait and then someone came a 16 year old asked us to all love away from the fridges and squeeze to the size even though were not served. When I told them that no one helped us yet, a teenager employee face palmed me. I raised my voice to ask for a manager, a guy in the line thought I was the one that started the whole situation and started to humiliate me. Their excuse? She was just a kids who worked there for years and I shouldn't be so rough on a child. And then when I told them you guys just humiliated me in front of strangers and I got yelled at. You know what they said? Oh but we told you we are sorry. What else should I ever want. I told them this is the first and last time I'm going to this business, they didn't really care. Horrible business,owners...

You NEED to visit The Nutty Chocolatier! They serve amazing ice cream with so many different flavors to choose from, plus they have a big selection of rich fudge, an equally huge selection of candy, and every other chocolate snacks/treat you can think of (that are seriously hard to resist)! On top of that, they carry unique local products from other vendors, which makes browsing even more fun. The staff is so sweet and welcoming—they always make the experience special!! And fair warning: the choices feel endless, so if you’re anything like me, you might walk in for one treat and end up leaving with a whole bag. Totally worth it and totally recommend going!

To start, huntsville was amazing , then this chocolate store pops up on places to visit when we were there and OMG what an experience. How to choose from all the assorted sweet treats, something to brighten up every age. Beautiful displays , nostalgic decor. It honestly brought me back to begging my parents for money to go to the candy store. I will definately go again when i visit. Friendly staff, clean environment, well organized. And you can get icecream! There is a small sitting area but honestly when the weather is so right , grab a treat and head to the water :) oh and dont forget your wonka chocolate , maybe youll find the golden ticket

Love chocolate, and love this place! Up from the GTA for a few days so set our sites on Huntsville for some sightseeing. This place has grown the past few years, and now has a vibrant downtown. The Nutty Chocolatier is a big part of that. Lots of chocolate options (peanut butter cups are the real deal, sorry Reese’s), and ice cream to boot. Plus a nice mix of sundries and other interesting items in the other half of the shop. A must-stop shop if you are in Huntsville.
