I had a horrible experience at this location - namely the print store, shipping centre. I went in to pick up a parcel, on the notice it stated the parcel would be ready on Sept 30th after 1800. I went in on October 3rd and the parcel wasn't there. I asked the staff working there what the reason for this could be was, and she responded to me (in regards to fedex) - "I don't know, that is just how they are". So I left, then I went back three days later and the parcel still wasn't there.
When I went back I dealt with Mehry at the print/shipping shop. She was rude. She asked me to "wait a few minutes" while she finished taping up a parcel that she forgot to tape up, even though there was a huge line of customers behind me. Then when I inquired about my parcel she told me that it was at another location. I again, asked about the reason for this as I had been back and forth to their location a couple of times now, and she had no answer for me. Then, I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor, and she ignored me and walked away from me at the desk. I had to call her back so she could give me the information for the location where my parcel was, and she showed up and faced the computer screen towards me in a rude manner and told me to take a picture of it. Then I inquired again about speaking to a supervisor and she then shrugged her shoulders and walked away from me, insinuating that she didn't understand what I was saying.
I also know the person working with her was Laila at the print shop who was equally rude and not helpful, and ignored me and the line of customers behind me.
I finally got the name of the General Manager, who I also tried to reach out to several times, and didn't respond to me. So all in all horrible experience. While the parcel being re-routed was not a staples issue, hopefully they can take accountability for the rude and dismissive staff. I'd never come back to this location, horrible...
Read moreMy feedback is not regarding the store or the corporate itself, as I am a regular customer with , Staples. It is regarding an un-knowledgeable employee that put me in a trouble!!! I had visited the store to buy office furniture a while ago, and selected the suitable chair that I wanted. then one of the associates that was a young man who wanted to help told me somehow, approached us and told that there was a good offer from Virgin Mobile for customers switching from other providers, that without any connection fee gives them a Sim card with a competitive price. He asked me about my current service provider at that time and I told him that was from Bell. So he reassured me that this swapping of providers won’t need any credit check for me as Bell and Virgin are actually the same companies!!! he also mentioned that the one time activation fee will be refunded back to our account after one month!! so although we were not there to swap our Sim card service providers, he talked us into doing that and said that we would get a $70 store gift card if we changed your Sim card provider to Virgin that day. Unfortunately I listened to his insistence and did so!! Not only Virgin did not refund us the one time activation fee of $50, much worse than that they did a hard credit check on my account as if I was going to get a mortgage to buy a house and this declined my credit score dramatically!!! my concern is that Staples should educate and teach the store associates about their job! They are not there to push people into purchasing something that they don’t want to!! I recommend everyone not to listen to the advices and remarks you hear from associates and doing research yourself!!! he did not represent his business/ Staples in a professional way, and left a bad memory for us for the store itself and the services that they provide!!! :(( I can give the name of that sales person to the managers if they...
Read moreI was visiting Vancouver and needed to get some copies done. I walked toward the self-serve printer/copying and since it's credit card charges only, I asked for assistance and one of the attendants standing by very rudely, said, "the instructions are there!". Of no help at all. So, I went and stood in line to see the clerk at the desk. I was in line for close to 15 min since she moved at a snail's pace, and when it was my turn, I told her I wanted copies done and she told me to go to the self-serve stations and I explained to her that I asked for help and the other guy refused to help me and that I'd like to pay cash and not credit card and she (YASI) told me well, "I will have to charge you a service fee of $3. FOR WHAT?!! DOING YOUR JOB??!! I asked her, "well, can you assist me with the self serve machines and she said, "I'M TOO BUSY!" not only was she rude and dismissive but very spiteful. Then I asked her, well, "Can you get someone else to assist me?" and she once again said, "NO, I'M TOO BUSY CAN'T LEAVE MY STATION!" I have never witnessed such distasteful, arrogant and rude customer service in my life. Honestly , she should not be in service or should be re-trained! Since I was dealing with someone who had absolutely no interest in business, service and basic human interaction, I picked up my folder and headed for the door very upset! On my way I had to pick up scotch tape and while paying for it, another attendant at the cashier (MANTEK) helped me and he was very friendly and I told him about my issue and he proceeded to help me finally got my prints. I told him about my severe dissatisfaction with YASI and the other attendant who wouldn't help me, and MANTEK apologized and smoothed things over. It was because of him, I did not storm out. Some people should not be in service (YASI) and some people should (MANTEK). I got a taste of both at this...
