I recently visited papa johns 1700 marine drive and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The menu had a great variety of options, from classic Margherita to creative specialty pizzas.

The sauce seemed to be lacking, and the cheese portion was quite skimpy, resulting in an overall lack of flavor. I experimented with three different base sauces – the regular tomato, Alfredo, and ranch – but none of them managed to impress me. Even the garlic dipping sauce that accompanied the pizza felt like it was predominantly molten margarine mixed with canola oil.

The jalapeno poppers were a letdown as well, as the peppers inside appeared to be undercooked; I could distinctly hear the crunch with every bite. The attempt at creativity with the Oreo bites was appreciated, but unfortunately, the execution didn't hit the mark.

Despite my initial excitement to try the new location, I'm disappointed to admit that I won't be returning. The overall experience left me unsatisfied, and I hope that they can address these issues to improve their offerings...
