Lots of different stores here...less than there used to be, but that's the norm for shopping malls now. One thing that stands out at this mall is Roo's Playhouse. This place was and is a godsend to me and many other parents in the area! It is a paradise for children of all ages....the place is stuffed with so many toys and activities the kids are kept busy for hours! There are attendants there that kind of watch over things, and the area is safe and secure. The main play area is cordoned off and gated so little ones can't wander off and mom, dad, or guardian can sit down and relax with coffee and a book. Or you are more than welcome to play with the children. ...but don't think you will be allowed on the swingset, bouncy ship, or the huge jungle gym complete with a slide into a sea of balls! Those are for kiddos only Haha! Roo's offers many other things like laser tag, an arcade, a dance classroom, babysitting services for while you shop, and birthday parties!! I spent A LOT of time there when my boy was younger, I actually miss...
Read moreMall lacks variety, are you going in for clothes or cell phones, no? Then you likely aren’t finding what you’re looking for.
Been in this mall numerous times to grab a bite to eat at the “food court” which consists of A&W Subway and Grecco, which again lacks variety.
And lastly there is no reason for this mall to be open until 7 durning the week. When I go in after work at 5:30 the mall is empty minus the workers. A lot of them young people, let them have a life outside of work and enjoy the sunshine during the summer. The mall isn’t paying the wages for the companies that have stores in there so save the companies some many, and save the workers mental health.
Also to note; I’ve seen the manager? I think she’s the manager. In the stores harassing them about their hours. Like I stated before: The mall doesn’t pay the wages therefore you cannot dictate the hours. So either change the hours to make it more accommodating as this place is a ghost town during the week. Or let the stores do...
Read moreA few things about this mall that annoy me and make me not want to shop there anymore: -All the "hangers-around" people...and I'm not talking teenagers...I'm talking about retirees and seniors. I've observed many that sit from opening time and through-out the day. Having their daily "jaw." The problem is they take up many of the tablea around A&W and when busy you cannot get a close table. Also they will stare openly at you as you walk in and walk by. Constantly! What a way to make newcomers or 'actual' shoppers feel uncomfortable. -Many of the stores are empty or recently closed. I.E. Peoples Jewellers. This makes me wonder why? -The flooring is the same as in the 80's and makes it dated. -They play the same elevator-type music from the 80's when I lived in Greenwood as a pre-teen/teenager. Super annoying! -Lastly, the fluorescent lighting is horrible and can make people sick and create headaches therefore limiting the time they...
