Subway — Restaurant in Greenwood

Update: FYI* this Subway is not in Greenwood as it says, it is in Halifax at the airport.

I was at the Halifax airport waiting with family for my sister's plane as she was returning home after visiting. We all went to different areas at the food court to grab something to eat while we waited. Due to my medical condition, there isn't many places I can eat out, I had to choose Subway. I've been to 3 different Subways since I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago. This place was horrible for subs and meal options. Apparently roast beef is no longer served?, but beef steak is?, the bun (gluten free), all I can say is I've eaten cornbread that stayed together better than this bun. It was extremely dry, very crumbly and it fell apart as I tried to eat it. I decided to cut it in half thinking it might be easier to hold together to eat, by the time I tried to put the crusts together to eat all I really got were my toppings .. luckily they tasted good. As you can see from the pictures my meal was not enjoyed, I was very disappointed....

I hate to say this, but watchibg these 2 people make our subs was DISGUSTING. Not changing gloves, not cleaning the counter/workspace, etc. We made the order around 6:30pm on 01/19/24 (a Friday). Not sure what their names were but it was just the two of them. They seemed very unprofessional. I'm writing this as a warning for those of you who might be concerned about allergies, cross contamination, etc. They had trays of the sub bread sitting ON TOP OF EACH OTHER on top of the bread oven. There were juices and chunks of other ingredients all over the place, touching our food, etc. Not to mention that the lady who was taking our order was quite rude. We ordered 3 subs, 2 were steak & cheese, 1 was an Italian one. She got mad, and said angrily, "But you only ordered 2." Nope... definitely said 3. I write this now, covered in crumbs from slightly burnt, stale bread. The food tasted fine, but it's hard to enjoy it when you know how it...

The girl making our meals was very unprofessional and didn’t speak to us at all during our visit into the greenwood location. When finishing making my sub she used a dirty knife that was used on the previous people before me in which was full of sauce as well as meats. I didn’t want on my sub, when asked to remake it she very rudely slammed the messed up sub on the back counter and proceeded to make a new one… she literally flattened the bread by pushing down on it on purpose before cutting it in half then proceeded to pat my bacon off with a napkin she pulled from off the counter… when it came to payment there was not an apology or anything didn’t even ask if we wanted meals you could clearly tell she hates her job.. and proceeded to give us our food after charging full price in a bag that was ripped. Very poor service and obviously doesn’t care about cross...
