Finally! Homemade authentic Lebanese food arrives in the Valley!

Generosity is the name of the game at this new Greenwood eatery! Mama Evelyn's has a winning strategy: provide lavish flavours, quality ingredients, and huge portions at prices that are more than fair.

Pizza here is superb, featuring a savoury, warmly spiced sauce, perfect crust and loaded toppings, in slices that are a full third of a pizza! I've never heard a pizza sizzling as it left the pizza oven before!

However, if you're thinking this is "just a pizza place" you are missing out on the real gems of the menu.

Shawarma. Shish Taouk. Falafel. Donair. Souvlaki. All impeccably prepared and simply mouthwatering, served with house made garlic, hummus, tzatziki and all the trimmings. Be warned: once you've tried a Donair topped with Mama Evelyn's house tzatziki, you may never go back to Donair sauce again....and you'll be craving it every twelve hours or so for the rest of your life.

Vegans take note!!

They may be new in the game, and there may be some decent, tried and true vegan pizza options nearby, but if you’re skipping out of Mama Evelyn, you’re missing OUT.

I don’t know what black magic is being worked in their kitchen, but the crusts are fluffy and crispy, the sauce ratio is perfect, the vegan cheese is melty without being too gooey (idk what they’re using but it’s better than Daiya) plus they have SEVERAL vegan meats to add. Not just pepperoni (but the pepperoni is also great)!

The pepperoni is so good it will make you forget about your last heartbreak.

I haven’t tried the Falafel yet but I’m definitely going to.

To top it all off, they’re super nice, and are always ready when they say they’re going to be for pick ups (seriously their timing is perfect, it’ll be fresh out the oven when you get there).

I would honestly give this place more stars if I could. Beyond all, you will not find better service anywhere else around here. You can clearly tell those guys truly pride themselves on making quality food and making their customers happy. They really go above and beyond. Everything we have had so far has tasted amazing. This is our new go for pizza. And that says a lot since we were devoted to a specific other pizza place for the past several years. I'm glad that the quality went downhill, because otherwise we would have missed out on this gem of a place. To add, there are also options for everyone. Dairy free, gluten free and just no diet at all. Given our household is now mixed in the dietary department, this has been a life saver.
