OCO Mart (Korean mart) — Local services in Halifax

August 14th, around 12PM. I bought some stuff for the first time in OCO Mart. I got overcharged for something that i haven't purchased. ( Porridge on the receipt) I kinda had a feeling that the worker seems very off when i was checking out since he didn't give me the receipt right away so i had to ask for it. right after checking the receipt ( I barely checked the receipt), I found out that i was overcharged. I told him about it and he goes " we have some items with the same bar-code numbers". that got me thinking why he wouldn't fix that issue if they are aware of it. with that reason, I am leaving this comment for everybody who shops at the store to prevent what happened to me today. ( I never leave any comment on google ever) So, please make sure to check your receipt after shopping...

The best Korean Mart in Halifax. I expected it to have some products from Korea, but the selection surprised me, particularly the ice cream and frozen foods. The store is clean, organized, and easy to find what you’re looking for. Likewise, the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions that we had.

Also, the prices of items were very reasonable. Having lived in Korea for over a decade, I’m accustomed to buying Korean food for relatively cheap, so I expected that it would be too expensive to shop for things here because it’s all imported.

However, the prices were fair, so I will be shopping there more often. Plus, there is a membership program there, so the more you shop, the more you can save. It’s definitely...

Very nice little mart: reasonable pricing, great selection and varieties, many pantry items as well as kitchen goods, frozen goods and drinks. The cashier didn’t greet or speak to us, but everything I saw was clearly labelled and priced (why such a rarity in small shops). Didn’t have time to buy anything...
