Alterations By Pamela — Local services in Hamilton

I sent in seven pairs of pants to be hemmed. Two of those pairs pants were hemmed at different leg lengths so I had to take them elsewhere to get repaired. Another pair the hem wasn't complete. It was missing about an inch and a half of threading.

I did contact Pamela and she seemed nice enough and offer to repair them herself, but I have no trust in her work after three pairs of pants were not done right. It seemed as it was rushed job and there was no craftsmanship in the work.

She seemed like a nice enough lady and I see she gets a lot of great reviews. I am just sharing my bad experience why I will not go back.

they started the project i had left them for two weeks till the morning i wanted to pick it up, so they were late for the event i wanted to wear it too, and the craftsmanship was so bad and looked so rushed, i would be embarrassed to wear it outside let alone to any events. now i have to go buy all the materials again and take them somewhere else.. there goes over $100 worth of materials. going to go back and see if i can get somewhat of a refund. tho i doubt they will give me one. also you cant leave less then 1 star for a...

I had initially given this a high rating but unfortunately every alteration we had have either all fallen apart or was terribly done. For a $7 basic hem - the pants had excessive threading placed only on two corners of the pants that would pull or break easily when you put it on. For a $20 euro hem, she left excess material hanging (pic attached) And for tailoring pants - it isn’t even done correctly nor does it look professional (pic attached) A complete waste of money.
