Yvette is just amazing. I may be a bit biased but hear me out here.

The location of this shop used to be a glute free bakery. My daughter needs gluten free foods so we loved treating her. But then they left. We were so sad to go back to frozen supermarket breads again. And then - along came the cheese shop. It just so happens my daughter was taught by her Nana that cheese is a gift from the gods and they officially labelled themselves 'Cheese dogs'.

Yvette always has always been warm and friendly with our family and we try to visit as often as funds allow - even if its just for a cheese snack pack! Those are amazing! Instead of buying fries or chips or chocolate we buy a cheese snack pack!

She always has great suggestions and if you haven't heard about their beer and cheese nights you need to ask!! It was fun! Even my hubby who hates everything enjoyed himself and asked when the next one will be!

It has been a fabulous year with you around and I do hope you stick around for another 11 as a little girl has her heart set on apprenticing in your shop! Lol

Check out the shop - please remember as with all local businesses, sometimes the selection is not massive - this is because the product she gets is fresh and delicious. The more people who buy from this lovely shop, the more she can buy and the wider variety she can offer! (At least I assume ;) ) so stop in on Saturdays to sample something new, or pick up a snack pack for the kids to walk with! You may discover a new favourite! Handeck is...

I was so excited to try this little cheese shop, but that feeling was shrt lived! On the door they have a sign saying they honor exemptions....yet I was asked to stand at te door like a dog, making it impossible to see the cheese counter. I was very upset as I drove fm the west mountain to get there! I'm not sure what difference that would make standing at the door! THE SIGN SAYS YOU HONOR EXEMPTIONS AND YOU DONT! SO PLEASE TAKE THAT SIGN DOWN! AS IT IS NOT ACCURATE!! STRAIGHT UP FALSE!!! I WILL NOT STAND IN THE RAIN AND GUESS guess what cheeses you have! Horrible experience!!!! This is a reply to your comment.(owner) sadly you lost me when you asked me to stand at the door...by you posting that sign in your window would lead one to believe that I would be treated lieberman else! Please take this sign down as you do NOT honor exemptions rather then making me feel lesser then! Nobody wants to be treated differently then someone with a mask so what you had to say beyond that point made no difference! A smile on your face does not...

I recently ordered some cheese for a social-distanced birthday party, hoping to make a few small charcuterie boards for some friends so everyone could have the same things on their tray but without sharing food. When I sent in an email, the woman I spoke to helped me pick out what to order in my budget, and agreed to pre-divide everything up for me so I didn't have to navigate a sterile environment in my kitchen. We also ordered a brie to use as a cake, and she was so helpful all the way through the process. I even missed my pick up date and she sent me a reminder because she knew she was closing for a few days and wanted to make sure that I didn't miss picking up the cheese before the 'party'. In a time where celebrating is so much more complicated, she could not have made it more simple. I will definitely be ordering...
