Filter — Local services in Hamilton

It is about time I left a review for Filter. Filter carries a range of new and "vintage" inventory all generally from the mid-century design class. There are a number of businesses in southern Ontario that do this. The first thing that sets Filter apart is their taste. Every piece of vintage they bring in is painfully alluring. Every contemporary brand they carry is exceptional. Filter is not the only store to do what they do, but the devil is in the details.

The second thing that sets Filter apart is their customer service. I've purchased from them a few times. I am yapping their ear off constantly. My question to dollar spend ratio must be one of the highest. Yet, they've never made me feel irritating. They've always answered every question quickly and professionally. In addition, I am early in my career so purchases from Filter are big purchases. The staff at Filter have always worked with me in this regard and I can confidently say their pricing is extremely fair. When things have gone "wrong" (I had a lamp on order that was quoted to take a few weeks but ended up taking a few months to arrive, obviously not Filter's fault) the staff are great at handling it and went above and beyond to make you feel valued.

This place is a gem! The aesthetics are off the map! A bright, spacious space and beautifully curated mix of high end teak and mid century modern furnishings. Every corner of this place has been thoughtfully arranged and each vignette/display is Instagram worthy.
