Update: Usually We Get Lobsters From Oceans Supermarket in Mississauga and they are way way fresher,, Caudles lobsters were pretty bland unlike fresh ones we are used to and unfortunately the most we ever spent per pound and definitely not worth the money but we wanted to try them again . Went To Caudles Saturday Bought 2 select lobsters weighing 4.3 pounds together for $21.99 a pound =$94.56. Nice looking kinda soft shell lobsters and got a total of 12 Oz lobster meat and going to make lobster rolls with the meat. Not sure how long ago they came from the ocean because they had no food in their digestive system or intestines we usually do see when fresh but we will see how they taste once we make our delicious lobster rolls again in the morning. Lots of products in store to buy more than I had expected. We also bought 2 smaller lobsters for our client not part of this review but added the cost in the photos of my two more expensive select ones and...

addition on Feb 14 2024" Still selling rotten crab and shrimp meat in their cakes* I forgot why I stopped going there. No more of this.

Had good previous experiences buying tuna cuts, lobster tails and some other cuts of fish. I bought some frozen crab legs sometime in March 2020. While thawing I got a bit of bad smell from the crabs but was hopeful and still proceeded to cleaning and cooking. The crabs smelled rotten during and after cooking. It was not edible. Had to throw them out. I chalked it up to a bad batch of crab legs. Early April I went back and got some frozen fish cakes and frozen seafood cakes. Thawed and started to broil them. Same thing started to happen, a bad smell emanated from the oven. After taking them out and investigated closer, they were all smelling really bad. I WAS VERY ANGRY AND DISSAPOINTED TO HAVE BEEN SOLD ROTTEN FOOD. Please don't make sell rotten food to the public! Throw out bad products and don't use them to make frozen cakes. I will be looking elsewhere...

Great experience again with Caudle's! I only order from them a couple times a year, but when I reached out via email a couple weeks ago, looking for a specific product I purchased last year, I got a very quick response. I was keeping my eye out for something and was having no luck catching when it was in stock. Matt emailed me very quickly letting me know he would try and get the product in, and low and behold, it was available a few days later! I received another email letting me know it was back in stock. I am so grateful, because this simple item has become apart of a very special family tradition. The same day free delivery option is amazing! It comes packed in a Styrofoam cooler box and packed with all the ice packs you need to keep your product fresh! It's perfect when traveling to the cottage and you need to transport all your seafood safe and sound!! Will continue to order from Caudle's for...

[Parking and accessibility] The driveway flows in one direction, and there is plenty of free on-site parking. While the front door is not automatic, the whole store is very mobility friendly with wide enough aisles to navigate easily. [Products] They have such a wide variety of seafood (fresh, frozen, and already cooked) and the quality is excellent. They also have an area where they sell other local products such as Eby Manor milk, baked goods, cheese, and so on. [Service] I found them friendly and attentive. He was willing to check in the back when I didn't see what I was looking for and bring it out for me. They take cash, debit, and credit. Overall, it's the best place to buy seafood in Waterloo Region!

Ethan was extremely helpful on recommendations and the lady at the fish counter was very patient and friendly. The Sushi grade salmon was well priced and absolutely delicious. They even gave me complementary ice for my cooler to keep things ice cold on the drive home. I've ordered online once and bought in-store once. Both experiences were phenomenal. I will be back.
