New Kennedy Square — Local services in Markham

A plaza and mall... I guess. The outside is very plaza like. The inside is very "mall" like. The parking lot is large, but even on a weekday (I was there on a Monday), it was full and busy as heck!

They have lots of restaurants in the plaza and other stores as well. Like a ramen restaurant, a dim sum restaurant, a pho restaurant, and a Vietnamese restaurant.

Inside the plaza mall, there's a grocery store, a flower shop, a Chinese bakery, 6 Chinese herbal stores, a food court, claw machines, gacha machines, travel agencies (?), hair salon, and many other stores are within the plaza mall.

The pathways are very wide and spacious. The plaza mall is surprisingly more busier than expected, especially the food court and the grocery store.

Overall, there's a lot of solid food choice options here. The plaza mall has a lot of variety when it comes down to different options of stores and such. The downside is the lack of parking space in the large parking...

It’s an old stylish mall with Chinese restaurants, travel agents and a supermarket. There is a “all you need” shop there which sell electronics, kitchen wares, clothing, batteries n misc stuff. You can also have expensive Chinese herbs, dried fish, ginseng etc there. Chinese style peanut snack etc. If your TV need to repair, hair cut, facial . Surely you can found the shop there.

There are a lot of take away Chinese food choices in the food court . You don’t have to ordered as accounting to their set menu. Soup and rice are included. The taste is ok .

Bought some Chinese style bread at the Sunnie Bakery next to the food court . There bread with sweet cream portioned at the side of the bread and not much. Their bbq in pineapple bread stuffed with a lot of bbq meat n sauce which is quite good. Their mango pudding could taste better if they don’t use the red mango caused it’s too hard in a...

I was there to get a hair cut with my daughter. My husband was parking the car at the parking lot waiting for us. The (allegedly) security guard came to my husband's car and asked him what was he waiting for and why did my husband not get in the hairsalon. My husband then said he wanted to stay in the car for some breathing space for himself. From this conversation, the security guard took a picture of my husband's car. When asked about the security guard's action, the security guard stated it was because my husband was coughing in his car. Addionally, the security guard refused to show his security guard license to validate his position.
