Full disclosure I never expected to get good croissants here especially in Mississauga, just got back from Europe and had some amazing croissants. So did some research and this place has gotten quite some positive feedback, I see some negatives in there so with that in mind I bought various items to get a good idea of their range. The positive the Almond sku was my favourite it seemed very fresh and flaky and delicious. My disappointment was the Pistachio bear claw.. The filling was non existent except a thin line in the bottom it felt stale. The hazelnut as well was not moist and just not on the same quality as the Almond sky again the filling was inadequate. I spoke to the owner who was friendly and took my feedback, he assured me 80% of the people like the hazelnut sku and he double bakes them it just was too dry/tough for me.. Spinach croissant...wheres the spinach to thin of a layer... At 3 bucks I think you can add more then that... All in all I was not wowed and I'm glad I tried a new local place but I don't crave to ever go back again... I am clearly not in the norm as they do seem to have positive experiences so I guess to each their own... Maybe I had a bad batch I don't know...At these prices you expect to be blown away anything less is...

i recently visited a charming french bakery located in mississauga that offers an authentic pastry experience. the interior, while somewhat old-fashioned in its design elements, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere with its bright lighting and comfortable seating arrangement. the bakery features an impressive selection of french pastries displayed with care. their croissant varieties demonstrate excellent technique with proper lamination and butter distribution. the tart selection is equally noteworthy, with well-balanced flavors and textures. complementing these offerings is a modest but sufficient selection of coffee and tea beverages. the dining area consists of approximately six tables, which creates an intimate setting suitable for quiet conversation. a thoughtful addition is the self-serve water station available to patrons. during our visit, we sampled extensively from their croissant and tart offerings and found each item to be of high quality. the kouign-amann remains on my list for a future visit, as it comes highly recommended! overall, this establishment delivers a genuine french bakery experience worth revisiting for those who appreciate fine pastries in mississauga.

I recently visited this French patisserie and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was absolutely adorable, with a cozy and charming vibe that made it a lovely place to spend some time. The coffee smelled amazing, though I didn’t get a chance to try it—definitely on my list for next time. There was also a huge selection of breads, which looked great and I’m eager to sample. However, the desserts were a bit of a letdown. While they were visually appealing, the flavors didn’t quite match up to the high expectations I had for a French bakery. For example, the pistachio mousse dessert was made of artificial pistachio extract. We also had the mango mousse that was okay, but had a weird syrup at the bottom that we didn’t expect. It also seemed a bit grainy in texture. The caramel walnut was probably the best thing we had there, but I’m not sure if I would go back to get it. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. The service was good, nothing to complain about. The line seemed to move by pretty quickly. I would definitely return to try the coffee and pick up some bread, but I’m not sure I’d go back for the desserts.

I'm very disappointed by the danishes I recently bought. The pastry was entirely different, not flaky or buttery as it was previously... it was a flavourless tough dough. There was no well-defined buttery layers like before and the apricot glaze was missing. It looked like pre-packaged berry filling too. It felt just like the junk at the grocery store for a much higher price. I noticed a quality change a while ago, but I wasn't sure. I bought a lemon danish and the pastry was French heaven (buttery, flaky, crispy with glaze)... but they used the neon pre-packaged lemon curd filling (the kind you get at Bulk Barn), NOT the excellent real golden lemon curd I believe they made from scratch before. It really was a gem. It felt like you were in Paris then. The croissants used to look so buttery, flaky, and inviting... you just couldn't resist buying them. Now they look different, and I have reservations trying them to confirm. The other reviews about the croissants quality change will suffice. Ditto, with the Raisin Snail. Taste-wise and ingredients seem unchanged, but they're definitely smaller than before. I scrolled down the reviews, and my suspicions are correct. There has been a change in management and therefore quality. I have reservations trying other things that I liked before, let alone anything new. If you're gonna charge that much, you better have the quality to back it up. I wonder where some of the cashiers went too. The newer ones are not friendly and lack serious customer service skills. Also, I almost exclusively used to buy from the discount rack, and the quality was still out of this world compared to anything else. That's how you know they deserved the 3 stars then. I cannot say that now. RIP French pastries that used to be my pick me up...

I’ve been going to this bakery for over 3 years now. It used to be my go to spot, their croissants and cakes were always amazing and we’d order all our cakes for birthdays and special occasions from here. Unfortunately, things have really gone downhill :((

A few months back, we got a red velvet cake for a gathering, and it was so stale and dry we were genuinely embarrassed… no one at the event could eat it. We gave them another chance and ordered a chocolate cake, but the description from the employee we were given was completely different from what we received. It felt like we might have picked up someone else’s order by mistake. Again, it was extremely dry and tasted old.

Still, hoping it was just bad luck, we went back one last time and got the tiramisu for a birthday. Btw we kept it in the fridge and served just a few hours later, but when we opened the box, there was a strong sour smell. The cream had clearly gone bad :/ it tasted off and had a really unpleasant odour. We were so disappointed and embarrassed once again

It’s upsetting because I really used to love this bakery!! I still think their croissants are fantastic, but unfortunately, their cakes and pastries always seem to be stale or spoiled, even though they look beautiful

Also, every time I order and ask for the freshest cake for an event, the staff always promise it was made that day but based on the quality and taste, that’s just not true. I’m not sure what’s changed behind the scenes, but I hope they find a way to turn...

We came in this morning in hopes of having a nice café experience. The front store associate was not very welcoming. We ordered sour dough bread, spinach quiche, spinach turnover and 2 solo espressos. The sour dough was freshly baked, but the associate was giving us attitude when explaining it was not able to be cut in slices since it will just crush the bread. Which is fair, but always a better way to communicate. The spinach quiche and spinach turnover were still frozen and she didn’t even bother to tell us or offer to toast them for us. The solo espressos had options for long and short, and we did not know the difference. And she didn’t give us a great explanation. Just finger measurements, when it’s actually related to water ratio as per Google. On the positive note, the ambience of the cafe was nice with lots of variety and options. But the staff did not look like or present themselves as if they wanted to work or be there. Maybe it’s an owner/management root cause..

Overall, terrible experience and likely not to return due to the poor customer service, poor quality of the products due to being frozen, and negative work environment. I suggest not going here, but if you do I hope you have a better experience than we did. If you want a really good espresso, go to Cosenza Social Club. Not as flashy or bountiful in products, but great service and...
