Boucherie Hongroise (1984) — Local services in Montreal

This is the first time I’m writing a review. I had never had this kind of experience anywhere in my life. The person at the counter was extremely rude. Everything was okay until checkout until we asked for 2 slices of something. She started making fun of us and we asked what the problem was she said its minimum 100 gr we said okay we just won’t get it cause we alredy bought 20 other slices of other stuff and we are 2 people so we said no thanks. We payed and she started acting mad. She slammed the cash and started talking to another employee so we asked what’s the problem. She started yelling non stop “leave my shop” and swearing in french. She mocked my behavior and I told her you are making fun of yourself. Then she started yelling and throwing stuff at us. I believe she has anger issues. She also PUSHED my friend out of the shop. I often drop by for one of their great sausage sandiches with hot mustard, sauerkraut and horseradish. (Well, to be honest, usually for two: a medium spicy debreciner and a hotter peperette.) I already had lunch plans and I was just walking down Saint Laurent to kill some time but it was cold and windy and I needed a place to hide. Thankfully I walked by Boucherie Hongroise and saw a little soup and sandwich counter. Let me tell you, the spicy sausage sandwich with mustard and sauerkraut was so simple and delicious that I haven’t stopped thinking about it for a week.
