I write this review with a heavy heart. I went to this salon to get my hair permanently straightened, which I do twice a year. The stylist did an excellent job, and she seems like a very nice person. I would definitely recommend straightening here and I have had straightening in dozens of places around the world. Unfortunately, when asked if I wanted a trim to get rid of damaged ends, I said yes, and the man who also works here came over to cut my hair. He asked no questions and started right in, towards the back where I couldn't see what was happening. The haircut was no trim, and is literally the worst haircut of my life. I came home and cried for two hours straight. I had long shoulder length hair, all one length with a couple of soft face-framing layers. My hair is now completely hacked to bits, with up to 6 inches cut off in some parts and no strand untouched. The short length of the "layers", number of "layers" and disconnect between the "layers" is astounding. At the time was hard to tell what was happening b/c my hair was wet, but at certain point my anxiety grew and I understood something terrible was going on and asked him to stop. I can't imagine if I hadn't. Rather than live with this (basically, a choppy layered hair helmet verging on a mullet that makes me cry when I look in the mirror and embarrassed to be seen by others), I am spending hundreds of dollars to get hair extensions put in - there is no way to fix this with another haircut. I am truly sorry to write this review b/c the straightening was very good, and I'm sure they are very nice people. But I do want to warn anyone who gets a haircut here to be very specific about what they want and pay very close attention too what is going on...

my hair was been cut first and even though I mentioned don't cut too much but it was end up to my chest high (originally down to the waist), my goal is to have big curl, I told them that multiple times and even mentioned that I want either #24 or #26 for the roller and I show them the reference look, the gentleman said ok and start to doing the style. Unfortunately, after 2hrs waiting, I end up like a 50+ 😂they end up get me the small curl(way too small, not #24 at all) look with uneven curl, my topper hair did not curl at all and the middle of the hair is way too curly, this make my head looks creepy af, flat for the top and large volume at the cheek area .they see me kind upset then the man start to use hair dryer to do some "style" to convince me that it wasn't that bad. HOWEVER it make me look even older! I cry for couple of days and washed my hair again at home, unfortunately it still looks ugly as hell. I would not recommend anyone to come here for the curls.

they charge me more because they include the cut (which I didn't ask for, the only reason I agree to do it is because they said my hair was bleached for the bottom and they can not do curl if I want keep that, it is crazy they don't even cut them all, part of my bleach hair still there and guess what, they are curled).

WORSE SALON EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was book an appointment for cut my hair, the woman told me i can come after 2weeks , then I waited until time came, her attitude is very bad, yelled at me when I call for book appointment, because her bad English and poor French, I try to talk to her slowly, but she still can not get what I said, English only of course, she didn’t speak any French, which is weird too cause it’s Montreal. Then I call her because traffic I’ll be 10mins late, her said it’s okay, then I go, also I’m wondering why her English advanced so much and she is became more friendly too, that surprised me, so I went there, then Absolutely she told me no, I can not cut my hair after a 2 weeks wait and earlier call to confirm, is SHE told me late 10mins can also works, if not I won’t go waisted my time and everything, then next client come earlier, she let the next person took my time unexpectedly, then SHE said 30mins for each client, your late, your time is pass to another, I was trying to say nice because I got friend recommended this store, then the salon woman said “IT’S HER SALLON HER DECISION!!!! ’’

I left immediately, can not take again and again so rude words,
