After the long drive north along the Bruce Peninsula, it was such a welcome relief to discover this vibrant little corner of the world hidden away. On a bright, sunny Sunday afternoon, it was almost standing room only around the entire harbour. Every restaurant looked booked up. Every bar was busy. Every ice cream parlour had a line out the door. Tobermory and its harbour made for a beautiful destination and turn around point on my exploration of the Bruce Peninsula. I just wish I had more time to stay and see more. I just know there was so much more on offer!

The hub for activities in this charming town with accommodations, restaurants, shops, tickets for cruises and tours, etc.. Nice place for a stroll or to enjoy a snack while watching boats and people. A good amount of washrooms around. Note that pretty much all parking spots are paid though, so leave the car at the hotel if possible.

Water is nice. $5 to launch a kayak. One of the female staff at the harbour was rude. It was our first time to Tobermory and we were not aware you needed to pay to launch a kayak, and that you can only launch it from the the boat launch is. She spoke to us like we were trying to get away with not paying when that was never our intention. We will never be going there again as it is not anything special and we have never had to pay money to...
